We have to get our DS's together I think they are about the same age :woohoo:

My DS is 4. He stated today that he couldn't wait to make friends on the Mickey Boat! By looks of the list, there are going to be quite a few little boys!

How wonderful! I hope you have many, many years of celebration!

Thank you. Looks like the next two years the anniversary will just be dinner at Disneyland. This is because we want to be at WDW on Oct 1 next year for the 40th and the following year we want to take the rumored HI cruise to L.A. from Vancuver in Sep.

You aren't too late. Hurry up and PM the coordinator :)

Hi everyone, we're still on the cruise...just been "busy" for the past 6 months or so! Jeff, I sent you a PM today, and yes, we'd LOVE to be included in a fish extender exchange. :thumbsup2

As Tigfanjeff said, you aren't too late- but you dont have much time. I believe the coordinator extended the deadline to this Friday for those who joined late to sign up for the Secret Mickey. The information to contact her is in post #1 on page 1 of this thread.

Shows how long I've been away...is secret mickey like "secret santa"? You give a gift to the person you are assigned to?

Big surprise, Jeff and I are a Disney couple too. For those of you who've been on the internet for a long time may remember usenet groups, the bigger Disney one being RADP (Rec.Arts.Disney.Parks). Jeff and I met online through this group. Long story short, it was a blind date of sorts - been stuck with him ever since
Jeff proposed at Epcot on a Illuminations cruise. We were gifted Tigger and Eeyore tails at our wedding by a friend (we wore them for most of the reception, I'll have to find a pic of me in my big wedding gown and an Eeyore tail hanging down the back). Jack is a souvenir from WDW (leaving it at that:laughing:). We did not get married at WDW, I couldn't fathom the price. Hopefully kid #2 will be a DCL souvenir.

Our dogs are Disney dogs. We had Copper who howled as well as Copper did from the movie. We have Dodger now (i.e. my Billy Joel dog - free drink to anyone who can tell me what I'm referencing - well the first one).

There are a bunch of kids 2-4 going on our cruise. WeLuvDCL and I commented on that when our kids met each other at BB. It should make for a great environment in the kids clubs!

And remember, if you appreciate all my work, my name is Jeff, I will be hanging out in Diversions mostly, my preferred beer is Guinness and my preferred wine is a Riesling. If you didn't appreciate my work, my name is Alan and I'll be hanging out in the back of Wavebands....
:lmao: :love:your work!

Can't seem to find anything from her to be able to PM her. Any ideas how she is compiling info?

DCL_Traveler posted a list of questions which I copied to the 1st post on page 1. I just checked, and they are still there. All you need do is send a pm to her, answering the questions. (To send a private message, without having a post from her to click on, go to your private message box - scroll down and click "send new message". Start typing her name in the to box, and it will auto complete.) Hope that helps.

Well then if the cruise get rough we will know why, especially if we are in port. When we got married in 2000 the min you had to spend was 10,000. We were falling a little short so we had characters show up at the reception we had at Narcoosees.

Oliver & Company
"Inspired by the timeless Charles Dickens novel, "Oliver Twist," Oliver & Company is the thrilling animated classic full of action, friendship, courage and heart that starts when Oliver, the orphaned kitten, is befriended by Dodger, the cool mutt from a New York pack of pickpocket pooches."

Very good. Most people forget about Oliver & Company. Our dodger is the cool mutt!

Dodger from Oliver and Company and Copper from The Fox and the Hound.

Robin beat you to the punch, but I'll owe both of you a drink!

The list has been updated, once again, with all the info... Including what wideeyedwonder considers a ummm, well ummm.... well... It's a formal night portrait I guess.....

I met my husband on The Majesty of the Seas. The other cruiseline. He was my waiter. I had wanted to get married at Disney they too wanted $10000 to do it so we got married on the Majesty in Oct 01. It was quite scary it was soon after 9-11 and I had 40 non sailing guests. It allworked and my non sailing guests got to come as well as 10 sailing guests. We always cruise in Oct. Have not been back to RCI in 3 years. Had some issues with them on our Hawaii cruise back in 07. Most likely will cruise them for our 10th. He wants to go on Oasis. Our cats our Dixie and Pixie. I used to have a horse Grey Street. Used in the movie Something to Talk About. No kids. But plnety of nieces and nephews in Croatia where my husband is from.

. Our youngest dog is Buster...anyone remember what movie that is from? :)

I am afraid I don't, but while we are on dog stories my dd just called in tears because the vet won't give her dog an allergy shot. Says it is too soon since the last one. Her dog is 13 1/2 and will scratch and chew until she bleeds. She and her husband are coming to meet me Friday to see my grandson play football and she is worried about leaving the dog with her sister-in-law when the dog is so miserable. My daughter lives in South Carlonia and I live 35 miles south west of Pittsburgh, PA and the football game is half way to her house! This is high school! It will be the only chance she has to see her nephew play so she and her husband are coming! I have the most wonderful son-in-law in the world! I know my dd is so afraid of losing her dog and when they get older we all know things can happen. That dog is like her baby as Jasmine is to me. They are going to be so crushed when her time comes and all of us animal lovers have been there and I know this board has many. I hate that I am so far away!

Either Bruce Almighty or Toy Story.... (I think)
Yes, Toy Story. Our oldest is Penny, also a Disney character but not a dog...little girl in Rescuers.

DH and I had our first date at WDW. Would have loved to get married on CC but DCL didn't even exist when we got married. WDW was way too expensive so we settled for a Mickey & Minnie cake topper.

I thought we had to name both! Just show that puncuation can really change the meaning of a sentance...I missed the brackets!!!

too funny :rotfl: ......still in California

I don't normally post stuff like this..if anyone has time to say a little prayer...minor surgery in 2 hours (it's the anesthesia part that worries me).

Just when they are about to add the anesthetic...I ask for the stuff that induces the dream about meeting the gorgeous, straight, italian millionaire who falls madly in love with me and spoils me rotten OR if you are married, you can ask for the stuff that induces the dream about meeting the gorgeous, straight, italian millionaire who falls madly in love with you and spoils you rotten

Just made final payment, so we are IN! Yes, we'd love to participate in the fish extenders. We had a great time doing it on our last cruise. I'm sorry we're too late to join the Secret Mickey group. Oh well -- I didn't want to get too involved or excited until I knew we would make it! My DH & I are celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary, and bringing along our 17-year-old son. We got married at the Disneyland Hotel and honeymooned at Disney World. We got engaged on the Mark Twain, and our first date was for the opening weekend of Star Tours. I guess you could say we are "junkies."

I'm looking forward to reading past posts and getting to know you fine folks!

Well...we can either be your support group or your enablers. Either way, you are among friends!!!
