Can someone tell me when we find out our dining rotation?

For those of you that have reservations with dreams unlimited, do they post them under client services?

Its been soooooo long since our last cruise, I really can't remember!

Those Beagles are darn cute!

Hope the little chihuahua heals fast and hope those little doggies that have gone on a road trip come home safe and soon!

Hi Denver from edinburgh:wave2:

Dining Rotations are decided about 25 days out from sailing. You can request a certain rotation now, but Carmen is right, you really don't find out until check in.

ANd only 2 or 3 days ago they swapped all the nights around on the transatlantic and peeved a lot of folks off, swapped pirate night and formal nights around and all that, so then everybody wanted to swap rotations again:confused3

Oh that messes with people's PALO plans. I bet some folks are miffed!

I have a friend who has a magic formula for figuring out what dining roation you're likely to get based on whether you are early or late and whether or not you have kids and what their ages are. She was bang on for our Western a couple of years ago. I am trying to figure it out for another friend cruising in Dec.

Exactly, I think our cruise buddies that had concierge told us the rotations then we asked the travel agents to put us on whatever rotation they wanted, some folks were worried about what dining room they were in for formal night etc, it seems now we wre going to be in the same room for both formal nights I think which is annoying some peeps, I am not saying there concerns are unvalid it just doesnt really bother me as I have no palo bookings, I do have a fav dining room though that I want for my birthday on this cruise;)

From another thread re: Castaway Cabanas

Hi, I had been reading this forum to learn more about the private cabanas. I have a 10/31/10 cruise reserved in a concierge suite and I called the concierge service today with a few questions. To my delight, I was able to reserve a cabana. They are currently taking reservations for concierge only but if space is available, they will open it up to other guests once onboard. There is currently only one tier of service available, and they are calling this their 'soft opening' time so things could change over time.

The price is $499 and includes the host, fruit, snacks, water, soft drinks, sunscreen, fluffy towels, fresh water shower, beach toys, tube and float rental, snorkel gear and a 1hr bike rental. Good for up to 6 people.

I hope this information is helpful to some of you! I'm excited to know I have some guaranteed shade for our day at Castaway Cay with my family!

What an awesom perk! I have a friend who's DH is an accountant for Hilton. He travels all over so they save up his airline miles for family trips. Then, they stay in Hiltons for next to nothing. They went to Hawaii one holiday - airfare for the fam of 4 was free, Hilton on the beach was $25 a night! Those travel industry perks are great!

I know the formula you're talking about. Jeff knows it. It works great for 7 night cruises. All bets are off for this cruise due to the length of it. As soon as conceirge tells me, I'll pass the info along. We've been dealing with the same cast member the last two weeks and he knows what information we want. We specifically booked Palo for brunch, tea and dinner for days that we wouldn't want to miss the dining room (character breakfast, AP show, etc). But the CM wouldn't/ couldn't tell us the rotation (we just told him to book the Palo stuff so we didn't miss other stuff, we didn't give dates).

That is a great idea. Our waitlist came through!!! :cool1::scared1: Yes scared and excited. We have never done something like this before.

I just booked stuff manually trying to figure out the best days for stuff. I did make a call and talked to a cast member about some missing excursions and he was great. Do you always deal with the same concierge person or can you request or do you just get who answers the phone?

With all that insider information, you'll be everybody's new BFF if you aren't already. I really don't care where we eat, as long as they feed me!

We actually haven't called yet. Eric must have been "assigned" to us and our gluttony of emails. I pretty much email Eric daily right now. Our emails are very clear and concise, but friendly. He already knows Jeff is a fellow cast member and to please tell us if we're ever being pushy or rude. But now we just ask for Eric when we email.

I really liked dealing with Eric. I have nothing to compare my experience to since I have only called once. But my experience was so positive, it had be floating all morning. I have emailed a couple of times, but get random people. How do you politely ask for him?

I address the email directly to him (through the generic concierge account). He always replies back.
