We are also looking at the outdoor adventure excursion. I think the waterfall sounds very neat.

We still have not booked our airline tickets and its not because of prices but because I do not know what to do. I know it sounds silly but I am a little reluctant to be away from home for an additional week. I can't really explain why. Anyone else have this ......issue?

GLAD you are ok, Lynne!!!

How do you decide when you're going to stay at a certain size? I'm afraid to spend much on anything in my current size for fear in a few months it won't fit again.

I'm platinum, roomie is a gold, and other two are newbies.
I go for size in the middle that I am happy with...
SUCH good news! And a bit of shopping is good for everyone - everyday!

Well, the day is winding down and I am ready for it to be done. It has been dark and dreary all day but not much rain, at least from my window. I am so looking forward to our cooler weather predictions - only supposed to be in the low 60's Friday and 59 on Saturday and the nights will be in the 40's. Open those windows!

To anyone in the path of Earl - take care, be careful and head inland. We have our own weather issues here with snow and ice but certainly not what the hurricanes bring. BE SAFE!!!
shopping is ok for the first hour then I hate it.
Oh, I forgot to answer the other question...there are 8 of us in our group, 4 gold, 4 silver! And a partridge in a pear tree...
:rotfl2:
If I remember correctly it is going to be Christian. I can find out from my friend at DCL. It could be Ray. I am not sure. It will be one or the other.

I sure hope and thought it was him......

I am having a bad day, lost new mobile phone last night, hassle, hassle, went for a new and they sold me the wrong card for it, 25 mile trip again, Im fed up, no more shopping for a while.

The Outdoor Adventure sounded soooo fun with the waterfall, but DH wont do the rapel or the zip, so the other zip is what we are doing. He can hang with all the kiddies at the river, zoo and bar, lol.

Hi everyone,

I have a question about some of the shore excursions. I have noticed on some shore excursions, it says the age limit is age 10 or 12, but then next to that, it says, "must be at least 48 inches tall". Well, my oldest is 10, and my youngest is 8, but my youngest is already 49 inches tall, and my oldest is 51 inches tall. Who knows what height they'll be come January with the way growth spurts go.

Do you know how strict Disney is with the age if the child meets the height requirement? Because there are some excursions we'd LOVE to do, but my youngest, or both kids aren't old enough, but they are tall enough.

Seems like height would be more important than age (for safety reasons), wouldn't you think?

Anyway, just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on that.

Thanks,
Kathy

Good morning. Well I just wanted to post some happy news. On Oct 1 in 29 days I go to our top out pay. It is a nice raise. So all in all, a good year at work. I top out and got my 4th week of vacation.

GOOD FOR YOU! party:

Not a bit of it! I'm on the west coast, I figger I'll enjoy it - 4 days in Disneyland, 4 days in Vegas and THEN go home I mean why rush into these things :lmao:

UGH! THAT is awful!

Never mind - he can cluck along with me

It's not silly. On long trips I often hit a point where I'm ready to be home again. With 4 days in Orlando before the cruise, I am quite certain that by the end of the cruise I'll be ready to return to reality. :cool2:

We leave 12/22 for Fort Lauderdale and our Crown Princess cruise with DH's family. Then we will head to Spring Hill to stay with a friend until it is time to leave for PC and this trip. We are not staying afterwards in CA, as much as I would like to, we will just have to go back and do a MR with a few days at DL before.

Congrats Alan! That is most awesome. How long have you worked for SW?

Hey guys. I've been in Phoenix for training over the last week. I fly home tomorrow. I will get the website caught up soon. I promise.

Well, I have been out of this loop forever, finally got home & was sick for a week so now to try and catch up with everything.

My grandson wants to do the zipline, but I would be the one by the waterfall or wherever if they let you do that???:confused3

September 8 and we can book! That just does not seem possible that everything is happening so fast.:scared1:

Going on bus trip to another grandsons football game tomorrow night and although I love to watch him play the game is in the city where my husband had his sudden stroke and died a year and a half ago, so not where I like to go, but I will make it.

I will stay in touch now. It is very hot here, but cannot compare to South Carolina with the heat & humidity!

Sorry about the cell phone loss! There is always something--I came home to a leaky large pipe in the basement and still can't get the plumber:rolleyes1

Hey, are you working tomorrow night? I'm flying through LAX.

I never work Fridays unless I truly have to. But now you have made me raise an eyebrow. I thought you are in Phoenix? So whomever you are flying home is sending you here first then on to FL?

No worries! Thanks for taking care of the site!

Usually, the website will not allow you to book an excursion if the child does not meet the age requirement. You might want to check with DCL to see. If it does not allow you to book online, you may want to inquire on the ship to see if they will allow it.

Good luck! :cool1:

Fastest way home... United (Skywest) to LAX and then Delta Redeye to Tampa. There's nothing else that can get me home Saturday morning....

Ah got it. I was wondering. Even if I was working we would not be able to say hi. I am in Terminal 1 on the north side or the airport. You will be in Termanials 8 for your arrival and 5 for your departure on the south side. Also be ready to go through security in terminal 5. None of our teerminal gate concourses are conected. There used to be a underground on the south side but I have heard TSA has shut those down to passenger use. I could be wrong.
