I am positive no toes were stepped on, just two helpful people starting new threads. I noticed you started one, but didn't notice that wasn't the one I posted on!! I just posted on the one I saw.

No toes here, Alan. I looked at the old thread and didn't see that you had started a new one, so I just did it, as I had said I would.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts! My DH's uncle was accidently killed this week at work. It has been a stressful week for us. We were unable to all go to Oregon due to the cost so DH went by himself. He left on Friday and will be back tomorrow. I am just heartbroken for his family. His cousin is expecting a baby in about 2 months so we are worried about the stress on her.

So this weekend has been on the sad side for me.. I miss my hubby and wish I could be with the rest of the family.

And now we have the otherside. Looks like, and I am sorry to sound like a complete company backer, but we did the right thing. Just as when I go to MCO in 12 days, I will be taking a flight from Phoenix to MCO but it will make a stop in Albuquerque. If they need my seat, becasue I am stand by, then I must get off the plane. Since he wanted to use his second seat as well, that could not be accomodated on his Stand By flight. He got lucky we gave him the 100 voucher in my eyes.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts! My DH's uncle was accidently killed this week at work. It has been a stressful week for us. We were unable to all go to Oregon due to the cost so DH went by himself. He left on Friday and will be back tomorrow. I am just heartbroken for his family. His cousin is expecting a baby in about 2 months so we are worried about the stress on her.

So this weekend has been on the sad side for me.. I miss my hubby and wish I could be with the rest of the family.

Hey everyone. I have just heard what happened this weekend with the Magic. Wow those must have been some really bad seas for then to stay at CC overnight. My friend who works for DCL was even asked to go out to PC to help them yesterday. He went and was swiping people onto the Wonder after the Mickey ears. He said it was crazy.

Yeah, that must have been quite the thing. It does look, though, like the company did the best they could with a bad situation.

I looked at a central america map in the bookstore yesterday. CAN't WAIT for our cruise!

I think they did a great job. I feal that they were under no obligation to do any type of compinsation due to something they can not control namely the weather. With what my friend told me, I personly think DCL went above and beyond what was needed. I say greatjob DCL. Kudos.

been away from home for 3 nights now, beagles were so pleased to see me, Ruby jumped and and gave me a bloody thich lip

Always interesting to see the whole picture! As a pooh-sized girl myself, I am always concerned for those seated next to me feeling like a squished peanut. I support SWA's extra seat policy all the way! Sounds like not-so-Silent Bob knew the policy too and should be thankful SWA offered a voucher...

Great news on the OBC! I read about that a few weeks ago. Wouldn't it be great if they did something like that for the Panama Canal Cruise!!! Not expecting it but would be thrilled if they offered something similar.
