About the Express Pass (Universal)

Hi !

A quick question about skip-the-line tickets.
Is the Universal Express Pass worth it ? Does it significantly reduce the wait time ?
We're only going to Universal for one day (2 parks), and we'll really have to make the most of that day !

It does significantly reduce wait times. It "guarantees" saving half the time, but generally you will save much more than that. It's common to have a 5-15min EP wait during a 60min+ standby wait. Depending on where the merge is, for some rides EP will cut out more of the line than others.

This is the Disney part of the forum, there is a specific Universal forum if you scroll down a bit.

Lots of variants - when are you going, how many people in your party.

The cost goes up as you get closer to your trip date.

Generally it is very helpful and does significantly reduce wait time. During a slow period it may not be necessary.

If there are several people in your group, it could be more cost effective to book a room at one of the hotels that offer free express than to buy it for everyone.
