Hey Everyone! So excited we are leaving late tonight (technically tomorrow morning, about 3:00 AM) to drive down to Disney! This is our third year in a row driving and we love it. We get a huge head start with no traffic in those first few hours, get to the SC border for a nice sit down lunch break, then we get to Jacksonville around dinner time. We love staying in Jacksonville near the St. John's Town Center, great area with tons of reasonably priced hotels and great restaurants at St. Johns. We love stopping in Jacksonville because we are just a short 2 hour drive in the morning to Disney after we wake up after a refreshing night's sleep.

So anyways, so excited for this week! Won't be posting much after today, so I'm sure I'll have a lot of reading to catch up on when I get back!

Have a wonderful time!! And drive safe!

We're heading down there for Memorial Day weekend. It also happens to be Star Wars Weekends at MGM :darth: :yoda: I'm so excited!

Safe travels and have a blast!

TGIF is all I have to say - other than I will probably work Sunday but at least not tonight and Saturday.

Jeff (TigfanJeff) wanted me to post an apology to y'all. It's been one of those weeks and he is behind on the website. He'll do his best to get caught up as quick as he can. He's driving monorails tomorrow.

If anyone is interested there are now 4 category 7 navigator verandah cabins available.

TigFanJeff - no apologies necessary, we know you'll get to it when you have some time.

Happy Weekend everyone, enjoy!

Blustery here. I wish I was in the same STATE as the monorail!

Well it is a good feeling to live 30 miles from, what Jeff would call, a Sexy Monorail.

We're off to WDW to have DS 3rd b-day party at toy story mania & pizza planet. Wish us luck and if we get any good pics, I'll share a few later. Have a great Saturday!

Good luck with the party. I hope it goes well! I LOVE that ride! Loved it so much I got it for my Wii...not quite the same, but it helps with withdrawls!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!

Just checking in... Pixie Dust for your vacation and for the birthday party! I hope they are magical!

We will be riding the monorail this week! For 2 days we will be going to Disneyland as my SIL family is coming for thier first visit to the resort!

Today is an event for my DD. The Girl Scouts 500+ event - for all girls in our Council who sold 500 or more boxes of cookies. Should be a nice day. Her 1000+ event is in a few weeks and we are still deciding if we are going to that one.

I think I mentioned that we were fostering a litter of puppies..well..the last little one (TInkerbell) was adopted yesterday...kind of quiet around here with out the puppy chorus!

Have a wonderful day!

Just wanted to share a bit of tenitive info with you all. If the rotation of Wonder cruise directors stays the same, according to my friend at DCL Chritstian should be our cruise director. Looks like they are on for about 2 1/2 months at a time. Our cruise should be his last before vacation, of course this is all speculation, as nothing about cruise directors for the Wonder is confermed after the beging of Nov. Just like with everything else. When I know, you will know soon after. Stat tuned. I have to throw this out there, I just hope it is not Brent. If it was, and if we were not taking such a special voyage, I would cancel.

I've never understood the big deal over cruise directors. Never noticed them, never cared. Does it really make a difference?

It does when one says they will look into a problem about kids in the cove area, then let the problem continue right in front of his eyes and does nothing about it, yes to me it matters. I don't want to be on the ship for 15 days with a Cast Member who lies to guests.

Can someone tell me about waitlisting for a concierge room? Do you just call and request it? If so and it comes through do they call you first before they transfer your existing reservation. Also how long do you have to decide on whether you want it or not?

Yes, DH is still going back and forth on the cruise much less concierge, but I can dream.

Also, can anyone tell me what happens if you request a room that's also a handicapped room and someone handicapped calls 2 months later and theres not one for them? do they kick someone out or tell those needing it 'sorry'? I'd change rooms if they tell me so i can choose another, but do they just do it or not give it up to them or do they ask you?
