From Target GC to Disney GC

Does Target allows you to buy Disney gift cards using their own Target gift cards? I know typically, companies do not allow you to use gift cards to buy other gift cards, however, my Google search on this matter seems to generate mixed results. Some say yes, you can do it no problem, others say no. If so, has anyone done it recently, as in this year? Any issues I should be aware of? I wouldn't go down in amount and ask for cash back. It'd be an even swap or higher value and I'd make up the difference out of pocket.

I did it just the other day to buy a $50 Disney Gift Card. I had $50 in those $5 and $10 gift cards that you sometimes get for buying certain items. I had probably $30 in merchandise and some coupons too. I she rang up my purchase including the $50 Disney gift card. I handed her my coupons and the Target GC's and they all went through. My final balance was around $28.

Target allows it in store and online. Walgreens does as well in store (at least that was the case a few months ago).

Did it last night. $45 target gc + $2.50 Target Red Card=$50 Disney GC. 5% discount took care of the rest.

I mispoke. I should have said my red card. In my mind its cash because its a debit card. I have edited the OP. Thanks for catching that! I wouldn't want to create any confusion.
