From Port to WDW through Budget

I am considering renting a car through Budget to get from Port Canaveral to WDW. I understand that the Budget office is very close to the Port, but how close is Budget to WDW? Is there free transportation, or would we have to get a cab? Thanks!

We did just what you're suggesting last year. The Budget shuttle from the Port to their office was very quick & efficient. My DD & I dropped the car off while DH & DS were at the pool. The drop off was at one of the DTD resort hotels (can't remember which right now). DD & I took the hotel shuttle & got off at the hotel closest to DTD & walked back to SSR. It was pretty easy!

I think the Budget counter at DTD is at Doubletree Suites.

There should be a place to look that up on the Budget website.
