Poor Jill! At least with all the pixie dust headed her way, she was all glittery and pretty for the drama!
I love it! Our kids have always called any sort of meat chicken. It is something of a joke in our family. Yesterday, as his Aunt Michelle was helping Connor fix his plate, he said, "I would like some chicken." Michelle told him it was turkey, and his response was, "It's all bird."
Oh no!!! Well, it some ways that would make it a very authentic Pilgrim feast!
Yeay for an early morning walk down Main Street. Due to those pictures, you don't know how close I am to booking a May trip. Who needs Black Friday sales when you can put down a deposit for Disney?
I hear you got a request for some pixie dust.
I'd much rather books a trip than get out in that mess to shop. It was very easy for me not to go out, since I am not buying anything this year. I got the girls each a movie - takes up little space and can be used again and again - and I'll get them some little odds & ends like fruit snacks, etc. They don't need anymore toys than what Santa will bring, and I more enjoy buying them little things on Disney trips than at Christmas when there is already so much stuff. I'll give Drew a couple of fast food gift certificates, since he likes to eat out with friends and won't be doing presents with a spouse/girlfriend's family like Jill and Trent.
A great end to one day and a great start to another.
Hope you didn't have to do too much work yesterday.
I only did what I wanted to, but I did get some things accomplished. Japan stuff during Thanksgiving is definitely different. I made the lesson plan and made up a game for Math on the day the clipboard people come, so that day is good.
Main Street is just so pretty
And the mosaic is amazing!
I didn't know the new Pooh queue opened. I have to go find some photos.
The mosaic is incredible. Think of the work that went into that!
Look at the news feed at the top of the DIS. It has a report on the new queue. It looks so different and so nice.
We had the beginning edge of front already come through. That brought wind and knocked off any remaining leves that were clinging to the trees.
Now we have gray skies and are waiting for the other shoe to drop so to speak.
I am not much of a dancer either but when I was younger I was less self conscious I guess.
Yeah, it's very fallish looking here.
Next time you're at Pop when they do the hustle, you'll have to see if you remember it like Cheena did. And you must video and share with us as proof, of course.
We had a great day Some of us always go for a walk after dinner and yesterday Kazin came with us. His daddy wanted to watch football so I volunteered to watch him. Of course we didn't have a stroller So Kazin was carried most of the way. Mostly by me. But I did switch off with my two very big and strong second cousins My arms are very sore today He did walk a little bit on his own and while he was doing that he found a pinecone. We then spent the rest of the walk teaching him how to say pinecone. He could say pine and cone seperately but not together. By the time we got back to the house he was saying "Pi cone!"
Last year on senior prank day some of the seniors put a whole bunch of plastic flamingos in our principal's yard
Sounds like very sweet family time.
I'm liking the flamingo invasion on the principal's house.
Happy Friday, friends!! Good luck to those shopping on this Black Friday - I am not that brave to try it!!
Have a great weekend!
Katie
Jill and I have gone out before int he cold and the dark, but I didn't find anything worth being out for. I haven't done it in several years, and now she's almost always in KY anyway.
Happy Friday!
I hope you are having a great day. I went out at 11:30 (last night) and shopped until 8ish. Some stores were super packed but we got a few things. I never do major shopping, just odds and ends, but enjoy spending time with my group of friends. The cold front/rain hit here too and the temperature dropped while we were out. Made waiting in line at Target just a tad chilly!
Today marks 29 days for our trip and seeing your wonderful Fantasyland pictures has made me all the more excited. We're going to make Christmas tie-dye shirts this weekend!
I hope you have a wonderful chicken and dumplings feast with Jill, the girls, and the rest of your family tomorrow!
We'll have to see the t-shirts, of course.

Yay for being so close! Anything inside 30 is almost here!
We have a lot to do today. It will be chicken and dumplings time before I know it!
Oh I loved those pictures! I must say Fantasyland is my favorite. I particularly like the HORSE photo! He practically looks like he is talking to you!!!!!
Those must be the happiest horses on earth! They are so well cared for and so adored by millions.
Yumm Boma I love their dinner and hope to try their breakfast sometime.
The moasic pictures are so pretty.
I saw the video of the new Winnie the Pooh queue on Disney's website and it looks amazing; kids are going to have a blast waiting on line.
Enjoy your weekend
I am going to try to remember to show Brooklynn the new queue today, but of course she won't really comprehend it until we go again. If the rest of the Fantasyland refurb is as cool, I think we will all be very happy with the changes.
This picture is just fantastic! Check out that bridle! Love the Mickey Head![/B]
This isn't a view that you see in photos everyday.
It just makes me want to go back.
Look how shiny and pretty he/she is. Just a beautiful animal.
Everything makes me want to go back.
