I didn't know they had a meal with the stepsisters. Where is that?
Jumping in with an answer...
1900 Park Fare has dinner with the stepsisters.
We talked Baylor (our son) into proposing to one of them a year ago spring break and it was a "royal hoot" you can look it up on
youtube. Baylor's proposal to Cinderella's step-sister at 1900 park fare. If you want to see what it's like.
When I first came up with this idea, I thought the Stepsisters would be there. When I figured out they were there for dinner, we still stuck with breakfast, because it just seemed easier to plan that since John would be staying back at the room with Bella. She could just sleep in, if needed. Next time we do Park Fare, we'll do it at dinner and make it an all-family event, but I am glad we did the just girls breakfast. It was a sweet, special time for our big girl - time just to focus on her.
That was hilarious!!!! The screaming and the little boy in the front just holding his ears was priceless. I just don't think it would be the same with a 16 year. Not that I could in a million years, get him to do it.
The strawberry soup is at dinner I think.
Maybe you can catch your son in a silly mood sometime, and he will do it. Trent would do in a heartbeat, but he's a bit on the crazy side.
There was lots of screaming and that kid did not appreciate it one little bit!
I am old and don't have much memory left but thought I had that yummy cold soup at both breakfast and dinner.
Maybe they've changed the menu since we had our breakfast there.
I didn't see it, but I wasn't looking for it. Had I seen it by chance, I would have gotten some, because I have read about how good it is many times. I wish I would have seen it.
You're not old, you're experienced.
And still learning new things all the time.
Something happened at camp this week where I found myself thinking 'live and learn', so even in my old age, I continue to gain new wisdom.
What did I learn, you ask?
I have forgotten.
I just remember I did learn something.
That was fantastic!! My whole family loved it!
And my, how Baylor has grown in the past year!
Baylor and Ben would have fun together in Disney World. Can you imagine the mischief they could conjur up?
HOW have I never seen that video before? Too cute for words! But my word she did let out quite a scream. As well she should with such an eligible bachelor asking for her hand! The video is dated 2009, I think but I am struck by how much Master Baylor has grown in the last year. Wow! Time sure flies. Wonder if he'd be willing to do a repeat proposal now?
I saw Baylor's video when I was 'researching' Park Fare for our breakfast.
Glad to hear you got some rest and relief today!
I am so happy to get onto the DIS tonight.
I worked a 13 hr day non stop yesterday and a 11 hr day today ...... I was hoping I didn't miss anything too excitting.
I can't wait to leave work behind me and enter the fantasy world of WDW!
I like my job but, it will be total bliss to run away for a few weeks where they can't reach me!
It has been fun thinking about all of our DIS friends that are there this past week.
I want those Mickey fit flops!
Thanks for letting me share the little details of my trip on your TR.
I know I won't get rolled eyes when I talk about it here.
I think tomorrow I may make the Mousekeeping envelopes.
You deserve this time away from work! It will be very hard for you to go back when that day comes.
You will not get rolled eyes here, or if you do, it will all be in fun.
You will get

,

, and

around here.
Feel free to show your envelopes when they are ready.
Such a pretty restaurant!!
The "fly by character" picture with Brooklynn turned around made me sad...but I'm glad he came back to visit her!!
That pin with the ride tickets is very, very cool! My MIL went during the early years of MK and has a couple brochures from it that she showed me - it was so interesting!
I gotta watch wigd's video....sounds like a winner!
That is kind of a sad picture.
It was a pretty restaurant in a pretty resort. I can't even describe how beautiful those flowers were. I wish I had been able to capture the beauty in a better way.
Great update. I love the pins so much! I wish I was at the GF right now.
I wouldn't mind having a Sunday morning breakfast at Polynesian, myself.
Oh my goodness, that video is adorable! I love that it was a flashing glow ring.
That had to be more than a year ago, hasn't it? Baylor hasn't grown up THAT much has he?!!!!
Where in the world would he come up with a flashing glow ring?
wigdoutdismom the video of Baylor is awesome!
I just watched it with Lexi and she wishes she was there to see it for herself.
Love the flashing ring .... a true gem!
Such a fun idea! You will have to show that video to his fiance when the time comes. Many years..... many, many years from now...
Thanks for sharing.
Baylor is such a star. Maybe he and Lexi can meet in person someday on a trip. He's a fun guy.
loved the 1900 park fare pictures! i do believe this was the day i was doing that horrible 3-hour glucose test and you guys cheered me up with a picture or two.
1971 was ray's first trip, too! only he was still in his mommy's belly at that point. they went every summer and he wasn't born until november of that year.
Ray needs a 1971 pin, then.
Yes it did, and I am so grateful for it! We managed to get a few pictures, but I think this one is my favorite
There are a few more on Facebook; I actually got to upload them because Facebook did not fight me every step! We got some group pictures, too, by using the timers on our cameras. More fun than asking strangers to please take a picture. I hope you have a great weekend!
I am so glad you girls had a fun day together. That is a great picture!
At any point in time during the visit, did Charles and Patrick roll their eyes and shake their heads at any of your silliness?
Those of you that watched Baylor's video, he has changed so much! His hair was much longer and now he has decided to grow it out again. I guess it's a soccer thing....
It was fun, that proposal, he was nervous, but she asked him to dance and that got the ball rolling.
I don't think he would ever do it again.
It's very fun if you have a little guy that would do it though!
Soccer guys like the long hair. Trent never had his long, but he had it longer in soccer season than in basketball season.
Looks like Brooklynn had a great breakfast! What a great idea to give her some individual time!!
I've been thinking about trying 1900 PF for breakfast next trip but I guess with you saying it's not the best food then maybe we'll do Cape May instead. I'd hate to pay holiday prices for lousy food.
P.S- I was at my Disney Park outlet store and they had that black purse you've been wanting. I was going to pick it up for you but I wasn't sure if you wanted it or not. It was 42$ there. I asked a CM there and he said they're going to keep getting shipments of it for a couple of months so it should be there next time I go. Let me know if you want me to pick it up for you.
The bread pudding was delicious. It was the best thing I had. Don't let our review be yours. Try it for yourself. I agree about holiday prices, though. If I am going to pay holiday prices, I want it to be a place I know is going to be great!
Is it that exact same purse that was at French Quarter? That is tempting, but I am past broke. If you think about it next time you are there, send me a picture of it. If I have the money at that time, I may do it. For now, I am fine with the one I was sent as a sweet gift. I do really like that purse, though, so if the stars align correctly at the time you see it again and send a picture, then I might take the plunge.
