From new experience, a wonderful fireworks experience!

Many line up for static viewing. Nice. We lined up by the pool at PPH (our hotel) the first night. Chairs and nice (no crowds). ...but last night... fate and our feet found most of our party climbing aboard the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad right at the commencement of the fireworks high show. It felt like it was just for us! We were all stunned at how close they felt while we had our adrenaline hit. The ride seemed faster (I'm guessing that it was because of the distraction of the singular experience).

Your mileage may vary, but I'd recommend it (but only after another four nights of this) (we don't want to be crowded out of the experience).

One of our favorite things to do is BTMRR during the fireworks.

OH that is special
we have done that on BTMRR for one of DSs birthdays by accident lol we got it on video we watch it every now and then it was like the fireworks were for him so I know how wonderful and magical that can be!
we even had a great CM who grabbed our vidcam and recorded us boarding and introduced himself on the camera! all the while the fireworks are going off above us
recently we have been on Matterhorn during the fireworks, those are pretty good too

I love BTMRR during fireworks! Timing can be tricky with some rides, but I have also enjoyed them from Splash, Matterhorn, on the top deck of the Mark Twain, and on Storybook Canal Boats (my personal favorite because they stop the boat to watch).

We were lucky enough to also be on the Matterhorn last year during RDTC. It was a blast flying around the outside of that mountain with all the big fireworks going off.

Oh fun!!!! I've been on Splash when fireworks are shooting off but I don't think we've done BTMRR yet, I'll have to see what I can do about that.

DH and DD were on BTMRR during fireworks on our last trip. They loved it!!! I sat on the bench and watched fireworks from there. I think I had the short stick!

A sweet CM from the Jungle Cruise ride told us yesterday that her fave thing to do in all of Disneyland is be on BTMR while the fireworks are going! We're definitely going to try it this trip!
