from long beach....

I know this question must be asked all the time, but I don't pay much attention until it actually pertains to me!

We are 3 adults and 3 children (10,8,5) flying into Long Beach for the first time (we always fly into John Wayne) I have taken Suppershuttle in the past and I just hate waiting and waiting for us to be dropped off! I am one who wants to get to Disneyland NOW! No I don't want to drop off 5 other families first! I guess I am a brat that way.
So I have heard that there are taxi mini vans that would be able to hold all of us. That sounds great for us, but what about my kids ages? Will they require a carseat? My youngest will be 6 in 2 months. I do not want to haul around booster seats! Can someone give me some input? We leave in 6 days! I can't wait!

If you google Long Beach Airport there is a link on the official airport page to the Yellow Taxi info. I would call them directly and ask about booster seats. I don't know that I would trust the taxi seat belts with a small child, I would probably opt to bring the booster seat.

Taxi Mini Vans - no sweat - walk right out to the taxi/shuttle area and there will be one waiting for you (or have the hotel reserve and have one waiting for you upon arrival.) My 2 year old doesn't need her carseat installed on those (even though we always have it with us as well), no idea why it isn't enforced since CA law is actually 6 years AND 60 lbs, but it's not. You're fine though, don't sweat it.
