I can't believe I missed your post. I don't get over to these journal as much as I should. I have started posting on mine again so I should be here more often.
I'm sorry to hear you had to take the other job. I know how much you loved AFLAC. How are the office politics going this time around? What do you do in the office?
How was the mint festival? I also read some of your older posts and discovered that you are a runner. I myself am actually a princess and I really would like to do the inaugural Princess 5K. The first problem is that it is on DHs birthday and I don't think he would go for it although you know I haven't actually asked him about it, sometimes he really surprises me. I don't know if he would want to be at WDW for his 52nd birthday. I could tell him we could go there and act like silly kids, that sounds fun. Problem #2 is I don't think I am capable of running a 5K and not getting 'swept'. The thought of training and working so hard and then being swept really scares me.
I know what you mean about battling the same 10 pounds. DH and I are on a strict 11 day eating plan. After that we take off three days and then start up the program again. Today I completed the 3rd day off and I feel terrible. When you are eating right your stomach does not feel bloated and stretched. I feel like I could explode right now. I fear I have found those 10 pounds again. I am ready to start the program again but tomorrow we are going to the a local minor league ball game. Our tickets includes a meal that is not on our program so we will be starting back on program on Tuesday. I hope I can eat healthy tomorrow. I have a Dr appointment on Friday. I have not seen her in 6 months and I would really like show a loss on the scale.
Your September trip sounds awesome. A marathon, a cruise, and a visit to WDW. What more could anyone want? Is it just you and Annette or are you going with other folks? I realize you will have lots of friends on the cruise since you are a regular there. I think Disney cruises seem so overpriced. I know they really do it right and you are paying for that service. DH and I are talking about going to Australia in a couple of years. I am trying to talk him into Adventures by Disney but he is concerned about the price there. I have read that they really treat you like a VIP and I really enjoy that type of treatment. Of course to attempt such a trip I will have to lose a great deal of weight to really enjoy myself. I will take any type of motivation,
I look forward to hearing from you soon. Let's set some goals and challenge each other to get moving again on our weight loss journeys. Tomorrow I will eat 5 fruits and vegetables, exercise for 30 minutes, and drink 64 ounces of water. Are you ready to commit?
