wondering on average how much a Cab would cost our family of 4 to get to Seaworld from ASMO? Last year my DH and DS 13 went off to Universal for a day while me and my DS 11 went to Epcot...for that trip we used the Mears shuttle. Bought the voucher at the counter at MCO. It was easy and convenient. I am thinking with 4 people at 19 r/t would it be less to just get a cab? Sorry if this has been asked before! I keep seeing questions regarding transport to Universal.....I am happy to be going to Seaworld in April:banana:

Have you considered using the Lynx bus to SW???? Check out www.golynx.com
If you go to the TTC, you can get a bus that will drop you at the SW parking lot. It's about $1.50 pp..you do need exact change. You also need to tell the driver you are going to SW, otherwise he will drive right by. The bus is clean and there will most likely be CMs heading home on it. I think it's the number 50 bus.
Otherwise, it will be about $40 or so, one way to SW using a cab. Rather than a cab, I would book a car service....if you know when you want to go, and when you'll want to leave it's a nice way to go and about the same cost as a cab.

The lynx bus seems so cheap that is it too good to be true?? I wonder how long of a bus ride that would be for just $1.50??:confused3 hmmm. anyone done it recently that can give me a review? I guess the cab vs the $19.00 mears shuttle comes out to about the same cost. I have time to think about this...we are going in April. Actually doing Seaworld on April 12th to be exact

I have done it but not recently. There aren't all that many stops along the way. The bus may make a stop at DTD now..it didn't when I took it. But that would be about it. It takes about 25 mins to get to SW.
You get dropped at the parking lot entrance, which means you have to trek across the parking lot to get to the park entrance. Then, when it's time to head home, out and across the parking lot again..then you cross the street (not a huge deal, easily done), turn to the left and walk down a bit to the Lynx blue pawprint signage that is the bus stop. AGain, have the exact change.
