We are arriving 11-23-18 at the Orlando Amtrak Station hopefully around 10:15 am. We need a reliable car service or any suggestions other than rental on how to get to our resort from the station. Thanks

No, we don't need car seats and just 2 people
If you will have a normal amount of luggage, I would use UberX or regular Lyft because of the cost savings.

You can check approximate prices on Rideguru.com. That will give you all classes of Uber/Lyft service plus comparative taxi prices. You'll have to check with the car services directly for their prices.

An Uber ride from the Orlando train station to Walt Disney World will probably run you around $30. It's likely the best and cheapest option for your needs.

At one time many of the car service companies wouldn't accept Amtrak arrival reservations. Too many delays.

Another vote for Uber. You can call when the train is arriving at the station or once you are there thus taking care of the knotty problem of ETA vs actual.
We'll be using them for our 11/18 and 12/20 Orlando arrival dates.

There are a couple that will do it, although it seems harder to find one that will service the Kissimmee station then the Orlando. Personally I always use Happy Limo.

Don't order an Uber until you have everything together and are ready to get into the car. If you order early, you are likely to get charged a cancellation fee because the driver is there and you are not.

Of course!
That's why I said when the train is pulling in or once you've arrived at the station. Still reiterating Uber's stated policy makes sense. I travel with one spinner per person but others have more luggage and thus would need more time to get themselves together departing the train:cool:.

But these are both different from JimMIA's advice. When the train is pulling in, or even once it's arrived at the station, are not the same as ready to be picked up.
Yes, depending where you are on the train, it could take several minutes to walk to the station house. If there are drivers hanging out at the station, and you're not there within 3 minutes, they can cancel. At least wait until you're at the station house. Of course, if you have checked bags, wait until you get them.

This is one of the reasons I like using a car service, when I book I tell them what train I am coming in on and they will keep an eye on it's arrival time and be there to pick us up.

If you're more comfortable with that, fine, but it really shouldn't take more than 5 minutes for an Uber to show up after requesting. If there aren't any actually waiting for the train to come in, hoping for a call, the station is in a pretty heavily traveled area, with one of the region's largest hospitals just 2 blocks away.
