i saw 3 day $399 and 7 day for $799 is this a dumpy room or just ok. we are Poly people at the resorts but the cruise is much more expensive and how much is a kid price?

The cabins are all pretty much the same size with the exception of the suites. The fares you quoted are for the regular cabins (no verandah or porthole). If you book a land/sea trip you would be staying at the moderate hotels. The other cabins would equate to a deluxe hotel.

The cabin size does not seem to vary much as you go up in category (except for the addition of the split bath) until you get up to the suites....those give you more room.

There is a site www.dcltribute.com that will give you more specific detail on the differences in cabin size.

If you plan to spend lots of time in the cabin or need lots of space you might consider them not to your liking. I do not spend time in the cabin except to sleep and primp so it was no problem to book the lower category and save $$ for excursions.

The kid price is less and depends on age providing there are two adults in the cabin already. DCL does charge the first two occupants in the cabin the adult fare regardless of age. Dave's site should have that info as well.

Used to the Polly eh? Time to change your thinking when it comes to the cruise. The rooms are smaller than at the All Stars (with the exception of Cat 1 for sure and possibly cat 2 and 3). That being said, the rooms are NOT dumpy. You are talking about the Magic and Wonder here. There are NO dumpy rooms. True, you may feel somewhat claustrophobic, but you only need your room to change your clothes and take a nap from 1 am to 6 am. Other than that you really don't need a room:D

Good price if u have not cruised before , then i would say try it now.. to get your feet wt and on the next one u willl have a better idea as to what u might like...

We are Boardwalk people and have a cat 7 for this cruise Verandah room and a Cat 11 for the 14 day repo cruise...

inside room no windows
