Friends, Wishes & Treats Oct WDW Trip ~ ~Aloha! HI cruise TR is complete!

we walked down the riverside to POR

looked around the resort and store a bit

then went on our carriage ride....Anakin was a bit nervous at first that he would fall out the side, so snuggled up to Megan!

it was the perfect time of day to go...we had a pretty sunset to enjoy

it was a very peaceful way to end our day...on the walk back to POFQ they were finishing up the marshmello roasting, but let us sneak in

we said our good-byes to Tink and Anakin and headed to crash!



so won't get another update done for a bit....we leave Friday for a weekend in DLR then up to Modesto for a few days to visit friends...we get home on the 23rd!
will piggy back our DLR photos here, so you can enjoy Christmas time at DLR!

Great start so far! I need to catch up on Judy's TR too... I am so far behind.

Looks like you guys were having a great time so far! I love Megan expression when you told her you were staying at P.O. How did you like the resort? We have never stayed there but are thinking about it for next time....

Lisa's debut at the HOB looks like a big hit!

Isn't GKTW the most wonderful place? I should of told you where Juliana's star is so you could look for it.... Right above the girls bathroom!

Your relaxing evening at PO looks like fun too!!! Megan & Anakin looked really cozy on the carriage ride. Is that free? Thank goodness the CM let the kids roast marshmallows!!!!

The carriage ride was fun! We had a much better experience with you then we did this weekend with it. I've never seen Goofy so frustrated with Disney before!

Glad we made it just in time for our own private campfire! It was great the cm left them make a few marshmellows!

LOVE POFQ plan on staying there again when we go Thanksgiving 2013! very quiet, good choices at food court, pool is fun and has a little baby pool too

free in Disney no the 30 minute ride was $45...it was a nice little break though.....now the marshmallow were free!

yes it is still a surprise.....but the little stinker last night ask if I had any surprises for this trip....said no just seeing friends - which isn't a lie, we are meeting friends in DLR - she said oh, thought maybe you'd take me to DLR since we will be so close , it took all my strength not to break out in a big smile!

I may only be on day 1, but I have posted SIX updates! With HUNDREDS of pictures...so there!

AND may I remind you I had to go to Philly for two weeks and Lisa had a major heart procedure and has been in the hospital TWICE in TWO different cities, we have been to approx. 42 MD appts., 18 therapy appts, worked over 70 volunteer hours, driven thousands of miles, taught school to 3 children in three different grades took everyone to HOW many school activites and had a Husband lose his job from being laid off...and sent out over a thousand resumes...shall I go on??? It is amazing I have gotten ANY updates up!!

(and to those who don't know, Lisa and I are great friends/sisters and I am JUST KIDDING, just like she was JUST KIDDING. I feel the need to explain because some will not get it or take it wrong. I know from personal experience. She is ribbing me because I AM so far behind and have lamented to her).


All kidding aside, LOVE the update and the pictures are priceless! I love how Megan and JJ just gravitated to each other and that you had such a magical time..I had seen some of the pics on Tink's report (HI TINK!!!), but love seeing them again from your perspective. What a GORGEOUS resort, I always have wanted to stay there...Maybe for a girls trip if we ever get to do one! (Okay, I can dream can't I). My brood would need two rooms to stay there...

Have the Most AMAZING CHRISTMAS TRIP to Ca!!!! I can't wait to see the pics of Megan being so excited when she arrives and realizes you WERE keeping a surprise. Give her a Big Kiss and Hug and tell her Aunt Judy is INCREDIBLY PROUD of her grades...middle school is HARD and she is rocking it!!!!

Now I have to run, so much to do....sigh....

I had to say good-bye one more time!!! Wish we could have talked last night, I was a little blue with all that happened...BUT, a night of prayer does wonders...as Scarlett O'Hara would say....today is another day!
