Oh it's just talking? I thought it was going to be an actual show, kinda disappointed in that but will watch. I really loved it when it was on back in the day. Tho I am saddened that Friends has been kind of being bashed lately, not gonna go there.

I haven't watched yet, but I will. I loved Friends back in the day.
Reruns have been on tv quite a bit in the past year or so and every now and then I'll catch an old episode and I have to say, as far as sitcoms go, it's aged really well.
I still find it really funny.

I enjoyed it, the ladies all looked like they hadn't aged much. I believe Matthew Perry had emergency dental surgery the day before so that was why he wasn't in the best shape.

Thanks for sharing that because I was wondering what was going on with his mouth. Dental surgery explains it.

As a white woman in my mid 20’s when the show was popular, I was in their perfect target audience. I had a couple friends who would watch it every week. I tried to watch it a few times, but thought the whole show was just not entertaining at all; never got the hype.

Am I alone in this? I cringe at it.

I thought "Friends" was an OK show and watched it occasionally but I also thought it was overhyped. Then again, there have been very few shows over the years that I really hated when I missed an episode. "Friends" was not one of them.

I really enjoyed it. I think trying to redo the show would have been a mistake. This was just a nice dose of nostalgia. They seemed to have genuine affection for each other and that was good to see. Everyone was a good sport about things and didn’t act like they were above it or something now. It was a fun way to spend an evening reminiscing with characters I loved with people who seemed to truly love their characters, coworkers, and show. Friends obviously isn’t for everyone, but the kind of success it has on a global scale shows it resonated with a lot of people.

I'm Friends obsessed so I've watched the Reunion twice already. I cannot go a single day without a Friends episode. Luckily, between TBS and Nick at Night, it's very easy to watch them daily. I also have the complete series box set that came out a few years ago, maybe at the 25th anniversary of it's first airing. The box set has cool bonus footage, and bloopers and narration by the creators. I wouldn't want a reboot; I agree with the creators that the show worked because it was a specific period of time when your friends were your family. Once marriage and kids start coming, it's harder to be able to hang out and shoot the bull day after day.

I laughed I cried and I critiqued Courtney Cox and Schwimmer TOO much work. Matthew Perry still a pompous *** the only time he smiled was when "Janice" came out. Lisa Kudrow Jennifer Anniston and Matt LeBlanc were all just so sweet and real. Glad they are not doing a reboot I'd like to remember them as they were.

I enjoyed watching the reunion. It was fun to see them all together and hear some of their memories. Although I like the show and still enjoy watching the reruns, the reunion wasn't a must-see for me. We happened to just get a new cable package that includes HBO MAX. If we didn't have access to it, I doubt I would have gone out of my way to try to see it.

wondering if that was maybe partly due to the emergency dental work a few posters mentioned earlier? Due to his earlier battles with cocaine back in the day, he may not be able to take any pain meds the way most people can. I don't know...just speculating.

I'd think this is very likely the reason he was quiet and not moving his face much.
