Same. When I realized it was just talking I wasn't as excited to see it, although I plan to at some point.I haven't watched yet. For some reason I thought they were doing another actual reboot show or hour long special or something, kind of like Will and Grace did. From what I saw on an ad, it was more of them talking and reminiscing.
Same. I watched it while it was on but how crazy popular it is NOW almost made me hate it. I really enjoyed the reunion though and found myself laughing and crying with them. I forgot that they really were great friends off the show and was telling my DD how they would negotiate their contracts all together. They were all in or all out. Also forgot how cute Matt LeBlanc was back in the day. I think it would have ruined what it was by trying to recapture it. I’m glad they did it the way they did.I wasn’t going to watch it because 16 years later, I still have Friends overload. Curiosity got the best of me, especially when I read that it wasn’t an actual episode, more like a reunion. It was pretty good. There was one thing that shocked me (won’t spoil it).
Can’t you do a free trial?Would be interested in watching if I didn't have to pay to do so. If it ever comes to Hulu or Peacock (free version) I'll watch it.

As a white woman in my mid 20’s when the show was popular, I was in their perfect target audience. I had a couple friends who would watch it every week. I tried to watch it a few times, but thought the whole show was just not entertaining at all; never got the hype.
Am I alone in this? I cringe at it.
On this thread, probably. And honestly unsure why you commented on the thread about the reunion when I’m guessing you didn’t watch it.As a white woman in my mid 20’s when the show was popular, I was in their perfect target audience. In any case, I was their target audience then and found it hysterical. I still find it hysterical. My 17 year old binged watched it all over quarantine and finds it hysterical. So while you certainly aren’t alone in your thoughts, given their successful run, I’m going to guess you’re in the minority. I personally think it was an great show.
