Friends & Family without Own MDE

I have one MDE account which also includes my husband's tickets and I do all the park reservations, fast passes, etc. for both of us. He has never set up his own MDE account.

We are now joining some other friends who have made group reservations and they have added me to their friends & family. Are they also able to add my husband to their friends & family list since he has no MDE and he is already being managed by me?

As it stands now, they've added me to a campsite reservation but not him, so when I try to make a park reservation for us, it splits us and allows me to get the park reservation, but says no more availability for him (even though he is an annual pass holder).

Just another in a string of MDE confusion I've had since getting APs again!

In your friends’ MDE, at the bottom of their F&F list is a link to Add a Guest. Click that, then click Find through my connected Guests. That should allow them to send you an invitation to link your husband to their F&F list.

Thank you! So they find me first, and then I accept on his behalf. Makes sense.

If "Find Through my Connected Guests" returns an empty list (mine does), another option is to "Import from a WDW Resort Hotel Reservation".

Thanks all. We've been able to add him to the campsite reservation, but now we can't get him a reservation for MK. When I tried to make park reservations for the two of us, it wouldn't allow me to do both at the same time. So I made a park reservation for MK for me, then went back to try to do one for him seconds later (as an AP holder), but it said nothing available.

It'll just be the two of us for the park day as all the others from the group are leaving the previous evening. So as it stands now, I can go to MK alone on Monday but he can't get in. I'll keep trying to add him throughout the weekend.

So we've tried both of the above for our situation and still get fuuuumble error. (We've even tried typing in name and ages but get a message that adding to DD's MDE will cause delays due to duplicate people - basically MDE seems know they exist in my MDE.)

DD has her own MDE due to a band trip years ago - she is now an adult, so we can't delete her MDE account.
My MDE account manages myself, DH, DS, and DD. DH and DS do NOT have their own MDE accounts and I'm afraid to complicate things by having them open their own accounts!
DD has me connected, but can't add her dad or brother (my DH and DS) without the fuuuuumble error. We've tried checking their names (both and each seperately) via connected friends and family and also via hotel confirmation - none of these combinations work.

TIA for any ideas that might end this "estimated 105minutes" hold I'm currently on with Disney IT.

Update - after being on hold for 1:25, the problem fixed itself and we were able to accomplish what we needed. I guess the fuuuumble was a temporary glitch.
Lesson is if you are having trouble, the glitch might be over before you can get through to IT.
