Friend's daughter leaving tomorrow!

Kim is a 31 yo National Guard, former 4 yrs in the Army.

Tomorrow she reports for active duty. She has been told they will be in Indiana training for 6-8 weeks and then will ship out to Kuwait. Her unit is replacing one that is already there. They are responsible for transporting supplies into Iraq.

She seems strong and ready to go but her parents are having a tough time. Especially her dad, a Marine who was in harms way at one point during his tour.

My prayers go out to her family. My DH left for mob station this morning and leaves for Kuwait on the 28th. The deployment ceremony was a difficult thing for everyone, but you get through it and on to the next thing.! All the best to her family
