Friends and Family Discount for Tickets

If there is a CM out there that can stop by a Company D store and get a quote that would be great, Actually we already asked My daughters friend to do this for us at her convience so I will eventually get a quote.

All the pricing is on the Hub, just have her PDF it for you and e-mail it.

Wow. Unless they offer a 7 day ticket. I don't think they could beat undercover tourist.

I have never used UT. How does it work? Do you get a voucher that you submit when checking in? Or do you have to take it somewhere else? We always have bought a package. This will be my first crack at discount ticket deal.

Please offer your experiences.

After tax for ages 10+

This must be after tax I would assume.

The Disney web site prices out

5 day PH & WP&M = 1589.00 after tax
2 day PH & WP&M = 1141.68

That is about 10% discount. On both options, but without being able to get a 7 day ticket it does not even pay to do this. Looks like it is Undercover Tourist.

I will do some research, I never used UT but I am sure there is a thread somewhere that tells me how the voucher program works. I assume its a voucher.

UT may be the best route to go.

Think about it, Disney just updated their ticket prices, UT could be selling their old stock at the old price...cheaper route to go.

Not to mention AAA and AARP offer discounts as well..

Can you bridge the cost of the tickets with an upgrade. Like you can if you buy through Undercover tourist?

Basically buy the ticket at the discounted price. Then after at least 1 use of the tickets you upgrade bridging the cost of the gate priced tickets.

a 5 day ticket at the gate is $1589
the upgraded ticket at 7 days is $1674.20

so I would owe $85.20.

And I actually paid $1430.12 with friends and family PLUS the $85.20

TOTAL COST is $1515.32

That is More than using UT So UT is the clear out winner as far as discounts go.

Yes, the value of the ticket would be bridged to the gate price, then you would pay the difference to upgrade.

UT may be your best bet...
