Fridges in room?

I'm taking my son to Universal next year for his high school graduation (his request). He is Type 1 diabetic and his insulin needs to be kept cool. Do the rooms have refrigerators or can you request one? If they aren't in the room, what is the charge for one?

there is no charge as it is a medical need.

do not wait until you check in and make the request as all the fridges might be rented out at that point.

if your room is not ready when you check in, the front desk can hold your medicine in a fridge for you

I definitely will. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions closer to the trip - I haven't been to the "dark side" since 2001! We are both looking forward to trying something new and especially the Harry Potter stuff

i would call first and have it noted on your reservation you need a fridge for controlled temp medications.

you can contact loews or you can send an email to the GM at RPH.

calling (reservation number) and having the request put on your reservation is the easiest way to obtain the fridge.
do mention it is for a medical need.
