Fridges back at POR?

Sorry if this has been asked a bazillion times - I couldn't get the search option to work for me... We leave Monday and are just wondering if the mini-fridges are back in the resort rooms.

I saw on the POR thread that 40% of the rooms have working fridges, but roughly half of those are given to rooms where people have requested them for medical reasons.

I'm really hoping to have a fridge when we are there late Feb. We don't have any medical reason to request one, so I'll just have to cross my fingers, I guess! I would just like to have one to keep our drinks cool, and for leftovers and whatnot.

The entire replacement was completed in September.

POFQ was completed in Oct, POR still in progress. I was just there last week. Fridge compartment full of pillows.

However we did have a medical request and they got us one, but the ones they have are being shuffled to cover those medical requests. They currently are waiting for a new shipment to fill in more gaps.

Anyone have any idea when Riverside should be completely done getting replacement refrigerators? We will be there in a little over 3 weeks and I would like to know what to expect.

It's frustrating to read that some of the value resorts are complete while a resort that costs more is still not complete. We have breakfast in our room every morning and we make use of those refrigerators. In really don't like the idea off storing milk in an ice chest for a whole week.

The problem is that they are waiting for order fulfillment. If they had them they would install them. Until the manufacturer sends them more they are in limbo. (the value's may have been using a different type and so they got their whole shipments already). www.portorleans.org has updates from an insider so I'd either subscribe to the resorts thread for POR or check out Andre's site for the most up to date info.
