Ok, as we are now into Aug I can say we are going this month! So, I am afraid here starts my stream of ques!

Firstly is there a supermarket within walking distance of the resorts? Just thinking mainly for milk and a few picnic supplies. Also does the Cheyenne have fridges in the rooms (milk for my 13 month old)? If not as standard, any way I can get one? Thanks!

If you walk across the River to the Santa Fe and turn left, there is an Esso Petrol station with a shop (but there is also a shop and food court in the resort that do milk). I don't think they do fridges at the value resorts I'm afraid. What we tended to do when ours were younger is buy UHT little cartons (with straws) and take those.

In table service restaurants, Milk is free for little ones (not at counter services though).

There is also a small supermarket inside the Station which has a good selection.

None of them have fridges, certain hotels have mini bars but they charge everytime you open it up.

when we stayed in NY we used our minibar as a fridge without charge... we just didn't take the minibar stuff.

I'm not sure the mini bar fridges are cold enough for keeping milk fresh, but maybe others have direct experience :)

I'd also suggest the 'Relais' supermarket within the train station. Not too expensive, very central and well sorted (incl. milk stuff, fresh fruit, etc.)

For the fridge question, this answer might not be helpful to you, but lots of even the low budget hotels got fridges at their rooms, especially in apartments. We have been staying at Citea Bussy Saint Georges in a nice apartment with a fully equipped kitchenette incl. fridge. Very nice do keep the food supply being inexpensive ;)

We bought milk from the train station and kept it fresh by using the ice bucket filled with ice.
In the past we have taken a small thermos flask and found it kept milk fresh for 24hrs
