Friday Afternoon MCO to Old Key West

Which is better? Friday 3:30pm

BeachLine(#528 to I-4)

or South Exit of Airport to (Central Florida GreenWay #417 to World Center Drive #536)

South exit to 417to exit 6 (536 World Center Dr) which becomes Epcot Center Dr after entering WDW, I avoid I-4 whenever possible. After passing under the WDW welcome sign take the 3rd right to OKW. There will be 2 tolls @ $1.50 on 417, they are manned tolls no exact change necessary.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing avoid I-4, when taking the rental car out of MCO, Is the South exit pretty clearly marked, will I see signs by the airport for #417.

Looks like I will have to come out of the rental garages and go all the way around the airport to go out the south exit, Keep bearing left, correct?

There are two sides to MCO. A side and B side. B side pretty much dumps you out to the south exit. A side, the north exit. There are rental counters for all the onsite car rental agencies on both sides as well as garages for said car agencies. Just follow the signs. Yep, sounds right to me. Naturally, when I left work, I rode the shuttle bus to the employee lot which was the north exit.
Enjoy your stay at OKW. I was a DVC charter member, joined back in 1992 when they had only one resort and it was OKW, aka Conch Flats. I love that resort.

South Exit To #417 worked well, no traffic at all. It was a breeze getting to Old Key West.
