Hi all--
I am planning a day at HS on Fri 11/22. I was planning to try to RD SDD since it seems like that is the best way to do it without a FP. We have a FP for TSM from 9-10 am. Complicating factor--DH can't ride roller coasters d/t injury, so w/o a FP I have to do standby with DS1 and then standby with DS2. If I could get 4 FPs then I'd use DH's with DS2. Also, my family hates to get up early so they are already grumbling about getting up at 7 to RD for a 9 am park open. We would like to do ToT, SDD, Saucers and TSMM.
Kiddos love fireworks and I think after watching a video, they'd like JBJB. How would you optimize SDD wait time for an afternoon/evening visit the Fri before Tday? I'm wondering if Fri night=more local customers?
Bottom line--would you try for RD or show up around 4/5 pm and try SDD closer to park close? I am assuming that later afternoon/evening lines will be longer for ToT and elsewhere than if we went at 9 am, but of course they don't do fireworks at lunch time.
TIA!
