Is anyone else getting bumped back to the time-consuming and annoying "horseshoe" step when you try and buy something at Small World Imports and the quest claims you did the wrong answer?

How about having so much lag time your character won't even move, and isn't able to navigate to another room? And even if you get your magic working you can't move onto the racetrack before it expires (at which point you have to wait 5 minutes to try again) and so you can't ever get your drvier's license? Argh!!!

If it is this bad now, how do they expect to handle the weekend traffic?

And why don't they put more consoles in the quest rooms since people just do not move out of the way?

me me me me me me me

I've been at the space quest for 32 hours now. I spent most of that time just trying to pick up the clover, I have stood on it, walked over it, walked around and over it, about 50 times now. Most of the time I time-out or dc.

It's next to impossible to move from room to room. People are blocking the fantasyland in the sky so bad right now, I have stopped all together.

I have sent for help from the staff -- help? what a laugh. I actually am hating the staff at this minute they are so useless and don't care. If I a grown 45 year old woman can't pick up a stupid clover leaf and am as agrny as I can right now;
how can a child of 10 hope to cope with all the frusration?

Well I'm a child of 11 and I got the clover. Not trying to be mean. :)

Anyways, I wait until about 6 VMK time. By then everything is at least a bit faster.

hmmm, havent had any problems getting onto a track. you guys ARE using advanced mode and going to an empty track RIGHT? :confused3 I mean you should be using advanced for all the quests, makes life much easier in an empty room. :thumbsup2

It was so hard to navigate a few hours ago, I asked my son to log off. But I have to agree with Moussedude, go advanced mode and enter the room with the least amount of people. It is so much easier!

I am trying to do Autotopia quest 3/4 or 4/4 and the gem won't show up for me. It showed up just fine for blue and pink, so I don't get it. Figure I will try again tomorrow. Don't think I will be able to catch enough ghosts on those two anyways.

The gem in 4/4 is not in the same room as the others. There's a pic that
shows a familiar Little Mermaid castle. I had a difficult time finding the gem,
so I collected some pearls. I found the gem somewhere high on 4/4.

it took me 8 hours i think to do the space quest, dont ever want to do that again. I kept walking over the clover as well lol. i got sooooo frustrated!!!

The only problem with this is when all of the rooms are full. Fantasyland in the Sky was like that for me earlier today. All of the rooms were full and they all had a line, so I ran out of time waiting in line! Guess some people don't know how to move their character very well...

A lot of the time people don't think when they step on something. They stand there waiting for the next quest thing to come up. While it is coming up, I try to move my character to another spot in the room to save time and let someone else move up. Unfortunately, not many think of that.;)
Well I'm stuck for now. Won't be able to even do the autopia quest until I can get the required points in fireworks. I can't even get over thirty thousand yet!;)

My only true frustration has been with speed. I know it is not my system or connection, so that leaves VMK. I could not get license or do anything on the track for so long because by the time my car moved, time was up.

I also would enter the diving area and see nothing in there. The images just weren't loading. Was frustrating, but with the system, not other players.

I just don't think that people realize when they are reading their quests hints that they are standing where others need to be.

That horseshoe step is awful. I had to try it like four times to get it. I kept on crashing or running out of time.

My biggest frustration last night was after completing the two car quests and the space quest and trying to get to star traders for the first time

Each time I'd enter the shrunken room I would get...

VMK crashed... grrr

I think I went through having to reload everything about 12 times before I got in- my daughter was getting more anxious than I was- and this weekend I will be doing all the quests again (well I'll leave mickey and animation for her) so she can play in these worlds too

I wish we could go into advance mode at the MONORAIL station! That is really the only place I need to be alone with my thoughts... lol

Cat Herder... I can help you with the clover... just let me know!

If you know what room you need to be in next. Go to that room BEFORE you click on the next quest question. The time will not start to click away and most of the time the object you need to find will still show up.

Yes, of course. That had nothing to do with the lag. And on the Thunder Mouintain maze you have no choice to use advanced mode and have to wait behind lots of ppl standing on the horseshoe and hope your quest doesn't time out.

Today I had to go 3 steps back from that one, a total of 6 steps back because of the Small World bug last night, and when I got back up to the horseshoe step there was this guy just standing on the horseshoe who would not move until he was done with his Mark Twain step! (and the steps can take forever with slow readers!) It is not to hard to figure out that common courtesy demands moving out of the way when there is only one spot ppl can stand on to get their item, and yet I guess that is too much to ask!

I believe the FAQ's posted on the VMK site says that if a player intentionally stands on a quest item, they could be banned. Of course, how long someone must stand on a quest item to get banned is a totally different question.

Several times I have gone to a room to satisfy the next part of a quest and the game had told me it was not the right answer and bumped me back in the quest. A very annoying bug! It happened in the Shipwreck and Monorail rooms, not just the Small World room, and it happened today as well as yesterday.
