I am no novice to WDW. I've spent over 100 nights at WDW over the years, so I'd say I'm a fairly frequent visitor. I’ve also owned a travel agency for a little while now, and while I don't work hands on in the office, I feel fairly comfortable with my understanding of Disney policies and booking promotions.

I tell all of this to say that this morning I was thrown for a loop. My brother, who owns an R.V and is a frequent visitor to FW, called to make a one week vacation reservation for December. He was offered a rate that the CM at CRO called a "Frequent Visitor's Discount." He got a preferred campsite for $39/night including tax, which is better than traditional AP rates, though not as good as the "Winter Settler Rates."

I called to verify that he didn't accidentally book with my TA discount (he does use my IATA number for bookings, but just so that I can refund him the commission). He was right about his rate, and though the CM didn't anything about the Frequent Visitor's Discount, it s listed as a promotional rate.

Has anyone else heard of this before? Is it possible that a program similar to this may replace the codes that we've become familiar with? Or maybe this is just something for FW as a manager's special? Anyway, I just wanted to get your thoughts on this.

I've never heard of or been offered such a thing but it sure is a good idea. When you call CRO nowadays they get your phone number and know how many times you come, where you stay, etc. I think they should reward us Disneyphiles, don't you?

Hey - next time we all call we should ask if there is a "frequent visitor discount"

PamNC

P.S. If this is real - I should go for free.

The database on your stays is not totally accurate, however.

When I called to make my reservation for December, she commented that my last stay was April 02. While I did stay in April 02, she was missing my 11/02, 12/02, and 04/03 stays. However, when she went forward a couple of screens they did come up.

Well, wouldn't that be cool! I hope it is for other resorts!

This "frequent visitor discount" sounds great. I wonder how many visits entitles you to the discount. What does everyone think?
