I am part SAHM to two little girls and part nursing student at our local college. DH is a salesman. We have a much smaller house than most of our friends (and much smaller mortgage), and less expensive vehicles. But we are the only ones that can afford to go to Disney!!!!

DH-electronic technician and I am part time SAHM and part time professional hairstylist....for 16+yrs. now.....

I drive municipal buses in training to be a WDW Mobile Ground Vehicle Transportation Specialist (Bus Driver). I am also currently working hard at using up my childrens inheritance! Let them earn their own money!

Previously, I managed a web printing/publishing business and owned a Residential Care Home, sold Real Estate, worked in Travel agencies, ran retail outlets and did bookkeeping! I don't jump around a lot, I'm just older then the hills.

I have been to WDW 15 times since 1983. I never get tired of it. I doubt I ever will!!

:jumping2: :cool1: :jumping2:

I selected "Business" .....

I am the Corporate Accounting Manager for a company that administers charitable gift instruments (trusts, donor advised funds, etc.)

DH is a Project Manager for an HMO.

I am a SAHM, DH is a computer geek. To fund our Disney habit we bought DVC. We had just paid off DH's car and the plan was for him to drive it three more years. Now the plan is for him to drive it for five. We are also no longer looking for a bigger house. The boys can share a room for a few more years. It makes things a little tight right now but it is worth it.

Stay at home mom here - DH is a corporate attorney.

We drive instead of fly.....but it IS vacation, so we try to enjoy the whole experience without skimping too much. We give the kids a certain amount of money per trip - for souveniers, mickey ice cream bars, etc. When it is gone - it is gone! They are free to use their own money, too - birthday, babysitting, chore.....

There are 5 of us so we have to stay at a deluxe. We started with a plan to go every 3 years - it just keeps getting modified! We generally go every other year - with a few years where we go in a row. There are lots of other places to go in this country - and in the world.

Have fun! but it isn't wise to go in debt to go to WDW....save and pay up front.......cost so much less in the long run!

I am an accessories designer. I don't have a hubby like everyone else. But my BF is a firefighter.

I'm a video game designer, and my BF is a motion/graphic designer. I got to design a game for Disney once, and I was in heaven, especially since it was Stitch! :-)

I am a financial analyst for a railroad and am trying to start my own bookkeeping/payroll/inc. tax prep business and dh is a supervisor in a tech support center.

We have been saving for two years for this trip and who knows when we will go again, wo we are going to really enjoy this trip!

I am a retired RN (Health Care - non-doctor). When DS started school, I had enough time in to officially retire, but I checked "other" because I now consider myself a full-time "MOM." DS is 9. DH is a Family Practice physician.

Both of my parents passed away within the past 4 years and I've been using what's left of my inheritance from them to fund our last 3 WDW trips. I'm trying to stretch the last few pennies so we can make one more trip this spring. I know my parents would approve.

I am a Technical Writer for a large bank and my husband is in Sales. I have a small part of my paycheck put in a savings account for Disney trips only. We go as often as that account allows us!!

I'm a RN and DH is a restaurant manager/chef.

We take advantage of every FL. resident discount I can get my hands on! Still our jobs sometimes keep us away from WDW for quite a while. We try to go every Fall!

I work for a major book publisher. The most basic way to describe what I do is to say I watch for errors in data processing and track and monitor returns.

I own a successful eBay business selling vintage and designer clothing. My husband runs an independent record store.

I'm a receptionist for a large accounting firm. I'm a single mom with three beautiful (expensive!) girls! The only way I can afford to go there every year is that I have a DVC timeshare. Even then, I have to scrape and save. But, it's SO worth it! We love WDW and DVC!!!!

DH - police officer
me - manager of the educational media devision for a medical school

I'm a software developer, DH is in customer service. I'm also a travel junkie. Currently, I'm planning our next 3 vacations - 1WDW, 1UO/St. Augustine, 1Maui.

However, our house was the cheapest one we could find, a lot of our furniture is second hand, and we don't go out much. So, I guess a lot of it's a matter of choice.

Kungaloosh!
Morticia.
