I work for a University in administration and my fiance is in Medical Billing. Disney is our vacation of choice always. There are so many ways to save, if you want it badly enough you can make it work.

DH is a Contractor and I work for a Mortgage Software Company. We Looooooove Disney and usually go every other year alternating that with a beach resort vacation someplace tropical. Family vacations are very important to us and we make it a priority to do one nice one every year. I know we have been very fortunate to be able to do this and have made enough wonderful memories to last a lifetime!

I work for a non-profit in public relations and DH is a UNIX systems administrator.

I am a CPA and my DH is an engineer for one of the big auto companies.

We used to go to WDW almost every year in either May or September (thanks to my parents's DVC points). Now that our kids our older - 13 and 10, it is nearly impossible to take them out of school for a trip. We refuse to go in the summer (too hot!) or over the holidays (too crowded!). Our kids have a week off in February, but that is my busiest time of the year at work. We took the Disney cruise last year during their February break, which was fabulous! I managed to catch up with all my work within a week of returning from the cruise. We are planning to go to WDW this February during their break. Hopefully, I won't catch too much flack from my co-workers for going on vacation during tax season again! Sometimes family time is more important than work (especially when Disney is involved!).

Im a stay at home mom to 3 disneykidS who are addicted to WDW as much as I am. My DH owns his own General Contracting Company.

I'm a contractor to the FAA and DH works in commercial insurance.

We own DVC since 2001, and that helps! We are bringing a bunch of people with us this trip to help compensate for some of our other costs. We use the Disney Visa card to save points for spending money. We buy groceries, gas, everything on that card (actually we split between the Disney Visa and our GM card to earn down payments for our cars) and we make sure we can pay it off every month. It takes some budgeting, but we make it work!

I own a travel agency and a pet-sitting company. DH is a technical engineer/web designer/IT guy. We also do a lot of things from home- web-design, E-bay, marketing, etc..

I am a SAHM and DH is in marketing for parts to repair nuclear power plants.

We have gone to WDW 5 times with our family of 6 since 1996. We fly using FF miles that DH gets from business travel and have stayed on site 2x and off site 3x.My kids could care less whether we stay on site or off - they love being at WDW as much as I and their dad does!

We eat a lot of counter service, have breakfast in our room/condo, condense meals to breakfast and one other main one during the day, carry our own water bottles (which we refill at the fountains). We do spend probably more than we should on souveniers though.

For the first time this year, we went 2 years in a row and wondered if that was too much. But it has only been 2 months since our trip and we are already missing WDW.

We are not the thriftiest people in the world, but we try. And for the past 8 years, trip to Disney have been our only vacations.

:)

My DH works for a major bank, and I work at OSU, running a meeting room. Not to mention the 3 teenagers, the dog, the cat, the house, and the community theatre!

We're just careful with our money, save on the little things, drive used cars and live within our means. We pay ourselves first for retirement, we shop discount when we can, and we count ourselves blessed - still in love after 18 years, and able to do things like go to Disney . . .!

I'm a hearing aid specialist. Although I don't make as much money as I could because I'm not as aggressive in sales as some of my peers, my wife and I save up all year long for our WDW vacation. Of course, it helps that my parents gave us a time-share, so we never have any lodging expenses. All we have to worry about is getting there and our park passes. This year we couldn't splurge on souvenirs and restaurants like we used to, but my DD4 and DD11 didn't really ask for anything--I think, like their parents, they were just happy to be there!

I'm a worship pastor and my DW will be a full time teacher next year after she finishes her ed. degree. :)

I am a SAHM (but in school at the moment to become a teacher) and my DH works in the internet industry.

We've gone to Disney a lot since 1998 and we manage to keep going by saving, saving, saving! Also, the frequent flier miles certainly do help!

I'm a teacher also, my husband is VP of a small town bank. He works a weekend job too though. We use our tax refund to fund our vacations. We TRY to go on A vacation every year. We've been to Dollywood/Gatlinburg but as my hubby says, "Once you've gone to Disney, it pretty much ruins any other park". Last year we didn't go but the previous 2 years we did. We're leaving in a week (thanks to the world's largest free fair (in southwest LA 15 miles to our south)) that we get off for. Hopefully we will get to go also next year to see dd9 dance with her dance group at disney. Both my daughter and I have actually marched in the Disneyworld parade with our high school bands. Believe it or not the same band director also (he just got there when I was a senior and the band marched and just left last year when my dd15 was in 9th grade) she marched when she was in the 8th grade!

I'm a Respiratory Therapist by training but I have been working as a consultant for a major respiratory medical equipment manufacturer for the past 10 years. My wife is a Pharmacist at a local hospital.

Nursing Services Rep for a chemical dependency treatment center! Lately though, chief Disney World planner, lots of laughs!

I am a buyer for a construction company and DH is a store manager.

I am a factory rep. for Plastival, Inc., a company out of Terrebone, Quebec that manufactures vinyl fence, rail, deck, gazebos, arches, trellis, benches, etc.
