I think it is so easy I took it for 3 years, (learning same things over again) anyways my teacher asked our class what does fait mean and I was raising my hand finally she called on me I was like it means to make or to do it matters the way you use it in a sentence and the kid in front of me was mouthing "How did you know that", I was like I pay attention when we were learning weather you use the verb fait like mother nature is making it be hot so for example Il fait chaud, means it make hot, because you cant translate it directly. Anyways my teacher was like very well Josh. I started laughing

triple post lol?

why dont you just edit it 1 post and add it in/?

At least you didn't have French all your life.. lol

Il fait mauvais.. would be translated as bad wheather

I meant it can't be translate to english literally

Il fait mauvais I would translate it has the weather is bad outside (but I am not an english / american native speaker) but I really dont like to translate things literally. But I see what you mean by your example ^^

i said the weather is bad out

Fait is not a verb. Fait is part of the conjugation of the verb "faire."

Donc, tu as tort. Je voudrais parler avec ton professeur. ;)
