I have had those, and they are not bad, but not what I am craving. They have a special way of making them in Quebec that involves fresh cut potatoes, deep fried partially, then chilled, then deep fried again at the last minute. They are warm and sensuous white on the inside and just the exact degree of crispiness on the outside. There is almost a sweetness to them. A sweetness which we cover with salt and vinegar of course LOL Back home there are chip stands on the road side all over the place. Some sell hot dogs and burgers also, but many only sell french fries.
