If you're in a renovated room, just turn the temperature up higher until the heat comes on. Those stupid thermostats don't let you chose between heat & air conditioning.

I had put it up to 82 and it still was blowing cold. I now have it on 89. We'll see. pain in the neck.

It doesn't sound like you're having the same problems we had. Are you in a renovated room? OKW maintenance is usually very quick. If they don't show up within a couple hours, call again.

I actually havenot at 85 thst I'd the highest it will go. I had to shut it off it was so cold. I called at 2:30. It is now 4:20. I am eating at olive at 5. If they have not showed ip by then I will stop in the office. Yes it is renovated room

Stop by the desk if you can and ask to the speak to the Manager on duty, don't let them tell you they can handle it. Simply say well considering my room is freezing and I have called Maintenance and no one has showed up, I prefer to speak to the manager.

If all the renovated rooms are freezing they may be really busy.

I will say this though, we were down in Dec last year before renovations and I don't think the heat works well at any location.

Maintenance should have been by your room by now. I agree with Sammie. Go by the front desk and speak to a manager. We and some friends were each in a renovated room last week and had a hard time maintaining a temperature that wasn't too hot or too cold.

I left for dinner and stopped in the office. While I was talking to the girl one of the mangers mustnof been listening and came over. They looked it and there was s work order. So hopefully I might have a warm room when I go back.

The new thermostats at OKW are awful, but we had heat last week. There is no heat/cool switch, so we turned the system off in the daytime while we were out of the room so the cooling wouldn't come on, in the evening, we set it to 73 and it was very warm. When we went to bed we turned it to 72 or 71, as otherwise it would be too hot.

The OPs problem really sounds like an issue that maintenance will have to look at, if heat isn't coming on at all.

We did the same thing, but a couple nights turning it down to 71 caused the air conditioning to come on rather than the heat! I hate those new thermostats.

If you want action just take some blankets and pillows and yourself and whoever is with you over to check in and plop yourselves down on the lobby couches and see what happens. Good luck:cool:

HH is the worst, could not get the room above 68 degrees in April. Happened two years in a row.

I would not even wait 2 hours for maintenance. i'd call every 20 minutes and ask for a status! Comfort in the room is what you "paid" for isn't it? Best of luck

Well I finally have heat. They never came until today. The only thing I can say is that I wasn't that cold and I slept all night. All is good now. Thanks for listening.
