Freezer in the fridge in a studio?

I am wondering if the mini fridge in the studio rooms has the little freezer section in the top?

Yes, it does. The first thing I do when I get into my studio is fill the ice cube trays with water so that I don't have to keep going to the ice machine. Here's my refrigerator at AKV-

Maybe I've been unlucky.....but no fridge ever made ice for me....not cold enough. Only the OKW fridge made ice....the rest didn't get cold enough.

Some people who don't use the fridge, turn the control way down or even off. I assume because of the background "hum" at night when the fridges motor comes on. They should all make ice, if you turn it cold enough.

My fridge at BWV froze ice very well...and my soda...and the expensive bowl of fruit salad on the bottom shelf.
