Freeride - is it worth it?

I was a member of Freeride years ago, during the 'good days' of RPing. After Freeride went down and came back up, I never rejoined. For those of you that are active with Freeride now, is it worth it? What do you cash out for?

I can't help you much since I've only been a member for a few months or so, but I seem to be earning credits fairly quickly. Don't have enough to cash out yet so I have no idea how they are with that. Any more experienced Freeriders out there?

I was a member way back too, and rejoined when the site was revamped. It's still a nice rewards site and I use it often. It takes a lot of points to cash out now, but they pay a lot too, so it works out to be about the same as it used to be. I get a lot of emails that pay 5 points per click. And every day I click thru each of the shopping categories to catch a "free ride" - each pays anywhere from 1 - 5 points. Sometimes there are many, sometimes only a couple (only seems to work on weekdays, none on Sat or Sun it seems)

Freeride is my best program! I've redeemed for $150 in Walmart gift cards since November of 2004.

Each day there are the cabs, plus you can do an OTX survey each day for at least 50 points -- if you qualify and do the whole thing, it's worth 500, Hot Jobs is up most days (around noon - 2:00 pm EST) for 300 points worth of clicks, plus if you're new to the program, if you go through the shopping categories and click on the sites,you'll get one point per unique site visit.

The MyCoupons rewards board usually has posts when HJ comes up, or if there are new sites to click on.

I rarely shop through them, but I do buy songs from iTunes through their link, as they give you 25 points per song.

I am doing Freeride. I cashed out for a $25 gc for Olive Garden and it came pretty quickly. For 12,000 tokens you can get a $10 gc and for a $25 some are 26,500 and some are 28,000. Hot Jobs has been up at 12:45 pm EST. Thats good for 300 tokens. For the cabs just keep clicking and clicking around. You can get a total of 10 tokens from cabs. Of course the survey and e-mails have been mentioned already. There is also the IFilms (I think that's the name) movie trailers that you can watch for 5 tokens. That's not always there. It hasn't been there this week. Last week it was there and you were able to get 5 tokens just for clicking on the ifilms without watching the movie trailer. But Hot Jobs wasn't around that week. So yes, I think it's worth it.

Just what is "Hot Jobs"? How do you get points?

(Yahoo)Hot Jobs is a job search site. You get points by clicking on the Yahoo Hot Jobs banner that will be on the Freeride Home page at a certain time of day. Currently it has been showing up at 12:45 pm EST. When its available, you will see the banner under the Donate your tokens for Katrina i(t will say Special Bonus Offer)that they have on that page. All you have to do is click on the Hot Jobs banner, a new window will open for HJ, let the page load, then x out of HJ page and just click on the banner at Freeride again. Continue until you reach your 300 tokens (you receive 4 tokens per click). If you click on the banner too quickly, you will get a blank page. Just x out of that page and click the banner again. What I do is write down how many tokens I have before I start so I can keep track. Once you reach your 300 tokens you will get the same blank page that you get if you click the banner too quickly. Some days they seem to have problems and you may get an error page (more than once) that says something about too many connections. Just x out of that and click the banner again.
