Freeport On Our Own

We want to do Freeport on our own and was hoping for some suggestions. I have read about the beach at Our Lucaya and the Dolphin Encounter. These sound great, are there any other suggestions from anyone who has been there? Also, I love to shop for jewelry. Is there a not to miss shop with great deals on Sapphires and Tanzinite? Thanks so much for your help. I am so excited!

We went to the International Bazzar in Freeport. There were a few up scale stores there mixed in with the regular touristy stores. It has been 2 years since we were in Freeport so I don't remember excactly what the upscale stores sold or even if they are still there. Hopefully someone who has been there recently will post. If not try looking on a Freeport web page for the International Bazzar, they might have the stores listed.
