Freeport excursion vs. Nassau

We are scheduled on a 4 night wonder in July. We were supposed to have a day at sea but got a notice today that instead we will be going to Freeport instead

Question...... I want to do the Dolphin Encounter. Which should I do, Nassau or Freeport. The one in Freeport is cheaper. Does that mean not as good or just a better deal?

I do not know by personal experience... But, by many accounts on this board, the Nassau/Blue Lagoon gets better reviews!

Since our cruise now has the Freeport stop, I was wondering about the snorkeling excursion. Can anyone tell me about that?
