:rolleyes1 If you go to the mirachem website direct and click on the truck and trailer wash under the industrial section there is still a place to click for a sample and it works.

Otherwise, it will be necessary to escalate matters.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Mirachem Corporation
Phoenix, AZ

The whole premise of offering a free sample is to generate more buzz about your company and products/services. I personally own a landscaping company and have 8 trucks. So for my company, a truck wash free sample would be beneficial to your company as if it works well we would most likely stop buying truck wash at the local BJ's Wholesale Club and buy from your company instead.

Your company's posting on this website that this is fraud is outrageous. In fact by us providing other people/companies your website address to order a free sample, we are helping your company to gain more customers. I would like to personally thank you for making my mind up for me on whether or not to do business with your company.

Have a great day.

I know that some of you think that this may be a joke and is not serious and are taking on an "in your face attitude", but personally, I think that this should simply make a point to everyone to READ the things that you agree to when using a website!

From the user agreement on the Mirachem website: (the bolds and italics were put in by me.)

So I do think that the Mirachem Corporation has a point to be made. ::yes:: So I strongly suggest that we remove ALL links to this site. I would appreciate any and all help in locating those posts since Search is being difficult today.

And please, PLEASE, PLEASE be sure that when you post links to Freebies, be sure that they are meant for ANYONE!!! And be sure that when you click on the I AGREE on a user agreement that you KNOW what you are agreeing to!

I am sorry that some people don't see the seriousness in this. :(

I do see the point by Merichems rules which I did read when I put in for my
sample. I have a husband who drives a dump truck for a living and we
legitimately wanted to try the product to see if it would be something he would want to use.

Well I tried again today to get a sample. NO LUCK! My brother works for a trucking company and I thought they would like the sample. Heck, DH might even use it to wash our boat! We would definately buy it then!

I am currently buying degree deoderant because I got free samples. I loved it so much!

Like a pp said, its not grand larceney or however the heck you spell it. Good grief!

I know that you weren't the one who posted the link originally, but it is the posting of their link (external links) that was the problem. And then in everyone's Freebie enthusiasm, so many people - most of whom would be called the "general public" - requesting the sample even when they did not have a commercial interest in the product that exacerbated the problem.

with regard to the m. c. post, freedom of speech would allow the mention of this site on this forum, however their hostile attitude with regard to their own offering and potential customers reveal to us all their attitude toward both the general public. companies of this sort have poor track records and let's just sit back and see if in three years they are still in business with present practices and present management and marketing concepts......by the way, my husband operates and owns many various large pieces of industrial equipment for which this product was intended.....he will not be purchasing any...additionally, in tune with their present printed conduct, i predict that they won't care that a potential customer won't purchase their product.....

i'm quite sure that the original poster of the freebie intended to expose potential end users to the product free of charge, as was the intention of the promotion to begin with. Fraud is established when the outcome of the exchange results in one or both parties misrepresenting themselves in a transaction........we represent ourselves as customers, they represent themselves as a sales facility for equipment items.....no fraud just business..

anyone can put anything in writing, just like i am now......

no one dare go near their site, and let's continue to sample free and fairly all items meant for consumer exposure.......

I was pretty embarrassed to see the DIS listed as the source of abuse for Merichem samples and so I just called to cancel my sample order.

The young lady that I spoke to was very professional and extremely polite. She told me that on a daily basis they are receiving tons of requests for samples, with many folks requesting "one of everything". Many of those requests have missing and incorrect info. She also told me that for legit businesses they are more than happy to provide a sample, so you can test out the product. She asked me what types of surfaces that I'd be cleaning and together we figured out that they have a great product that may very well be what I'd need. She's sending out my sample along with pricing info.

I don't post a lot of freebies, nor do I sign up for every one of them... just what I think I would use in a personal or business capacity. Hope this doesn't garner me tons of flames...but the folks at Merichem seemed very nice and I'd hate for them to get a bad rep based on one post. :)

I don't own a flame-proof suit...so please be gentle. And if you'd like to sign up to win a an outdoor KitchenAid kitchen, then head over to www.mccormick.com and print out the snail mail entry form. Good luck and I hope one of us wins!! (okay, I hope I win...but if it isn't me...then I hope it's one of ya'll)

Gdulaney, No Flames, Congrats For The Way You Have Handled It.....i Do Wish The Company Itself Or Their Representatives Would Not Have Attacked The Dis, A Sacred Spot To All Of Us, A Better Response Would Have Been On An Individual Basis With Those With Incomplete Or incorrect Applications.......
