The past couple of weeks i have not filled out my info on the freebie site directly form the DIS boards.

i will click on the site directly on our boards- then- when the site comes up- i click on the web address, copy it, open the internet again and paste it in the address bar and go from there- i dont think they can track where you came from when you do it that way.

If you go to the mirachem website direct and click on the truck and trailer wash under the industrial section there is still a place to click for a sample and it works.

Mirachem considers these actions to demonstrate the intent to commit, and the act of committing, fraud.

We have asked the managers of this site to take steps to address this issue at once. We would also ask you, the users of this forum, to terminate your prohibited activities as well. Otherwise, it will be necessary to escalate matters.

Oh please. We're talking about free samples here, not grand larceny.

I guess that Mirachem Corp. doesn't take into account that some of us BUY the products we request...
I have only requested products that I think I might really buy and want to try.
And since I haven't even got 1/2 of the samples I have requested ( my mailperson/post office is either overworked or just sucks....), I haven't bought a lot of the stuff yet. However, some of the samples have been so good that I am planning on getting them, and some so bad that I am glad that I got the sample before spending $$$ on the stuff.
Glad Mirachem has so much money it can spend it on law suits, must be doing good... maybe all we DISers can buy stock in the company... then see what the policy would be on samples ! And if it is making so much $$$ then we could spend the dividens from our stock on Disney trips and stuff....

My husband is a tractor-trailor driver and is in charge of cleaning his rig as well as the fleet of straight trucks at his company when he isn't on the road. I'm not sure what brand of wash they are currently using, but if it's Mirachem it won't be for much longer!

Ok, but you offered a free product--just because the response was greater than anticipated I can't see it as fraud. I buy many of the items I sample, often they are things I didn't even know existed until I rec'd them. Heck I just spent over $100 on products from Mario Badescu (I would not have known they existed until I tried their samples).

Eventually, other freebie forums will pick up on their free sample offers - there are zillions of freebie forums. I say - if they don't want to give out free samples - don't offer them at all.
