Forgive me if I am about to ruffle feathers, I am mostly a lurker on this board who occasionally posts.

BUT, has the Freebie Thread gone astray? Didn't it used to be new offers every week? With repeats happening every now and again? It seems like I see alot of the same offers posted over and over again every week, many by the same posters. And didn't people used to subscribe to the threads using the thread tools - subscribe option before? Now it seems like a lot of post just to subscibe.

I used to read every week and I used to get some really good freebie's from this board. Now I just find it frustrating to weed out the junk/spam from the good offers, and only read occasionally.

So, in a nutshell, what happened to the Freebie Thread?

 I think a lot of it has to do with the slow down in company's offering the freebies.:confused3 I used to have a full mailbox, but the pickings are getting slim. I think the people that post still do a great job. :cool1: I do not have the time or patience :scared1: to go freebie hunting on my own and I appreciate anything that they post.

Some of the repeats may be for people that are new lurkers. Some of the old lurkers have taken advantage of them and if the offers are still valid, the new lurkers can check them out.

I'm also not trying to ruffle feathers in return but..... if you don't like what is being posted you could also work towards bringing new offers to the freebie board as well. Your contributions would be appreciated!

also I have noticed that there seem to be less offers available than there were a few months ago.

Oops - forgot to ask.

I've just found this thread, and have only managed to post one freebie. I'd like to help more. Any tips on where to start looking so I could add more to the list?

It has definately been a slow couple of months, but hopefully that will change! I'm not giving up hope! (Because then I'd miss out on something good knowing my luck!) I'm gonna keep on looking for new offers!:surfweb:

Do you just go to Walgreens.com? And, how did you find the family pack? I'm having trouble, but I haven't signed up for an account yet. I'll try that.

Thanks for this one! My daughter has to give a book report on Susan B Anthony and give a speech to the class, so these will make great hand outs!

And by the way, I totally apapreciate everyone's hard work to get freebies, and I personally think if I get one "gem" like the one I got today (free bookmark) that it's worth it!

THANK YOU ALL!:thumbsup2
