We did rent (from Blockbuster) Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson I love that man (may be RIP) Great movie if he interests you. We also saw Breakfast with Hunter and Buy the Ticket, Take the Ride: Hunter S. Thompson on Film which are also great documentaries- and of course, Fear and Loathing and Where the Buffalo Roam are incredible. BUT you really have to be into and appreciate Hunter to like them IMO.

Have not seen Gonzo yet and you know I'm a fan. Unfortunately, DH really is not and I'm sure the kids wouldn't be too keen on it. Some day..... I do have the book but haven't got around to reading it either. Right now I'm reading Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver.

You know- I signed up and they sent me an initial free code just for signing up- but I have not gotten anything after that?

cost 20 cents on verizon wireless if you don't have a text plan....is it worth 20 cents to get a FREE movie or movies depending on how many credit cards you have?

Has anyone ever gone to one of these? I ask because I have to work on Saturdays, so DH would have to take both kids and it is like an hour drive to the closest TRU. If I could tell him it is super cool, he might do it.

Has anyone gotten the dog food from Rachel Ray Noutrish ?

It seems like such a long time ago this freebee was posted and I never got it.

I received 2 different samples of the Rachel Ray dogfood. One was red colored and the other was tan. My dog loved the tan but the red one upset his stomach and soon came right back up . I also noticed my Walmart has pulled all of the Noutrish off of the shelves so I also can't use the coupons that came with them. Good Luck.

I tried the code yesterday and couldn't get it to work. Maybe I was doing something wrong? Can someone give me the simple version of using the machine? I tried to enter the code in the beginning, that didn't work, so I tried using it at the end after you choose the movie but before you swiped the card. Can anyone give me some guidance???

After you chose your movie, there are small boxes at the bottom of the screen different instructions-one says "enter promo code" touch that and it will allow you to enter the code, then when your "invoice" appears you will see it has a zero balance. You still have to use your credit card in case you keep it longer or lose it. HTH.

I was always afraid to use the redbox but I am a big fan now.

If you don't want the code text or emailed to you, you can check insideredbox.com on that day. People will post it there. They also have other promo codes that you can use.

You can use each promo code once on each credit card that you have.

You can't use the promo code if you want to reserve online.

You can return the movie to any redbox location, you do not have to go back to the same redbox.

to use the promo code: you select your movie and add to the cart. Then on bottom of screen you hit add promo code, enter promo code and then check out. You then swipe your credit card, punch in your zip code and then it will ask you want the transaction emailed to you. I personally don't give them my email only because I get enought stuff sent to my email address.

It is very user friendly. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have a full selection of movies.
