it asked for my rewards #, so i signed up to be a rewards member and tried to redo it but it keeps saying my rewards number doesn't match my last name

I just pulled out our Tracfone (from 2005) to charge up to let EvanMouse carry it to & from school---and it wouldn't allow us to buy new minutes for it. I called the customer service # (800-867-7183) to see what the problem was---turns out, it's an analog phone which they've phased out. So, Tracfone is sending a BRAND NEW updated phone, no charge, no shipping, and he said he'd try to load in 20 free minutes as well! The best part is that I don't have to worry about returning the analog to them.

They know I have it, since it was registered in my name and was still in their files. So that's my freebie post, if you have an older tracfone, I'd try calling them or going to www.tracfone.com to see if you're eligible to upgrade free as well!
