Freebie thread for July 2 2007

Hi all...I got a letter from Calphalon saying my products I registered for did not qualify for the freebie...did anyone else get that? I registered for well over $500 worth as a housewarming...:confused3
there is a certain product that qualifies you must read the whole thing as I am not sure which one it was. you then must pick only that one product to qualify for the free gifts..you can pick others but it must be 500 of that one product to qualify..good luck the set is really nice..Marianne:goodvibes

Thanks from me too! I've been sending these links to my dad and he's excited to try some different brands, as he says his fingers are always sore :sad1:

Sorry for adding to the post count and not posting a freebie. Many new meters allow for fore arm testing. It saves fingers, but it is not for everyone or all testing situations.

:sad1:

Yes, I did.. :guilty: I don't know why though... :confused3

read the fine print, I think there are some things that don't count towards the $500 limit. Seems like I remember some of the cookware (pots & pans) dind't count?

And the $500 has to be ALL calphalon products, you can put other things on there but you have to have $500 worth of calphalon products.

Kinda felt the same way so I didn't do it. Just feels different somehow when you are getting something "with a catch" and you know you really won't have anyone buying from the registry. Not knocking anyone who did it either, this offer just wasn't right for me. :)

I registered as a housewarming not a wedding.
We just finished a complete kitchen remodel, and while we're not having a housewarming I would like to update ALOT of my kitchen bakeware, utensils etc. Most of my stuff is 12 years old, we got as wedding presents then. So I registered to TRY it out, to see if I like their products (WHICH I do!) then I could go back and buy things one at a time if I couldn't afford a bunch at one time.

Woohoo! I got my calphalon stuff yesterday. Its actually very nice, we registered as a housewarming but in the letter they stated weding, oh well.

Ok, I just can't bring myself to register for the cephalon. I'm not getting married! Am I the only one who feels this way? Not dogging others who registered under "false pretenses", but how did you justify it in your mind. Maybe I could justify it, too. :)

I'm with you!:goodvibes I didn't sign up either. As I've said before and other people here on the thread do the same - I don't sign up for every single FREE thing, even if I post it!:rotfl:

I always pick and choose what I want. I usually skip the perfume ones. They make me sneeze!:lmao:

I did sign-up for the calphalon stuff. I figure when I did get married, no one really bought off my registry either so why would this be any different. Plus I can point my hubbie toward it for Christmas!;)

I posted a thread on the main Budge Board that Michael's has a ton of Tinkerbell items for $1. They have a section of $1 items.

Good afternoon freeps! Thanks for the hair color sample :thumbsup2 I'm gonna keep it back for after my current hair color fades :goodvibes
