I have a question for those of you who have received your carry-on. A friend of mine just received hers and it has a very heavy odor similar to tires!!! It smells so bad that she couldn't keep it in the house, so she put it out in the garage to air it out. Has this happened to anyone else?

Mine smelled when I opened the bag, but I took it out of the plastic and within an hour or so the smell had aired out. I've noticed that *smell* with a lot of things that I've mail ordered when it's something that's been put into a bag after production. .. doesn't have the chance to air out in stores like other stuff - i did the retail thing for awhile and noticed that same smell when we'd get new shipments in.

I got mine too.

Does anyone think the carryon quality is strong enough to send with other checked luggage with the airlines? I would like to check mine but am not sure it will hold up.

I wouldn't hesitate to check it - it's better than some bags I've seen. I've definitely seen a lot of pretty ragged bags come off that conveyer belt at baggage claim. The only thing I'd worry about is putting anything breakable or leakable into it THEN checking it, since it's collapasable.

Does the shipping status at UPS on anyone elses order still say "Billing Info recieved" and nothing else? Mine was supposedly shipped a week ago, and still no package recieved by UPS.

Mine said the same thing, so I called Chadwicks and explained it to the person who answered and she said, "let me switch you to Customer Service. Then it was a recording that I reached them when there office was closed, it then listed the hours. I was calling within those hours. So my guess is that they are passing people on to NO ONE!

Initiallay when I forgot to enter the free shipping code, in my order confirmation, they have a link for the above, I used the link to ask them to include the free shipping code, I think it takes them less than a day to let me know that they added the code for me.

I had since received my items and there was not shipping charges.

My order says the same thing. My mom got hers within two days of shipping confirmation. Mine has been sitting somewhere for 4 days now.

I just received my order today! I called in my order over the phone, and read the codes to them that way. I placed 2 seperate but identicle orders of the $1.99 beaded earrings and the free rolling carry-on. I got free shipping, no tax...total $3.98 for both orders together! I placed my order 9/16 and it arrived today, 9/27. The carry-ons arrive flat, and they do have an odor, but I think that will air out. The earrings are cute...peach and grassy-green and white beads on silver wires. The carry-ons are great as I had already decided that I was going to purchase each of my kids one as a Christmas gift for our upcoming Dec trip....I had budgeted $70 for them...and got these free! Granted, they are not high quality, but just fine for a 10 and 14 year old to wheel thru the airport.They will be great for sleepovers too. I bought a Pluto patch and a Tinkerbell one and am going to put them on the bags..they are $1.99 at Hobby Lobby...the patches were more than the carry-ons!

I got my order today, I placed it last Wedneday! I was so excited to open the package, only to find the bookbag had a broken zipper on the front oh well. the carry on is great and for the price I couldn't pass it up, I ended up ordering another one!
