Free webkinz****

From what we've seen and been told, there are 14 "free" webkinz to choose from. I looked at all of them lined up waitng for tomorrow at the pharmacy but can't remember all of them now, I'm missing one... free choices included - the pig, cow, green frog, white poodle, a tan 2 color dog, leopard, tiger, lion, bear, tan lab, tabby, white persian, balck & white kitty, and ?

Ours also had a hippo (cute) available.

Our small town has two Hallmark stores so I went to both before the kids got home. I bought a great frame to use for a pic of our upcoming Disney cruise for $11 and got a free tiger webkin. Then went to the other and bought a Mother's day gift for my mom and got a free cocker spaniel webkin. Surprised the kids(who have been faithfully enduring tv turn off week) and took them back to town tonight for the special hours with the wheel of wow. Both won a pack of trading cards, magnetic bookmark and a balloon. We also entered a drawing for a free webkin and got a call just a few minutes ago that my daughter had won! She got to choose from any webkin in the store, even the new ones! The lady was so nice to read my 6 year old the entire list of them and let her choose. She ended up with the mouse. Our stores both said that you can get one free webkin each day of the event. I guess we are going back tomorrow since we have to pick up the prize. Atleast I am purchasing items that I really need or can use as gifts. The webkins are just an extra bonus. Thanks for the heads up on the event!

We went to hallmark today to get our free Webkin. The deal they had was $10 free Webkin, $15 free Webkin, and you get to pop a balloon that had a paper in it that listed a prize. I got all my mother's day cards, and birthday cards that I will need until August. My 11 year old DD was in a hurry at first worrying she wouldn't get hers, but when we were on line we learned that you got one free here for each $10 you spent. So the first time I went up she got 2, and popped a balloon for a free webkins bookmark, the second time she got one more, and another free bookmark. On the way out she played a few games and could have won Webkins playing cards, or a Mousepad, but won candy and a scented pencil instead as consolation prizes. She was thrilled, but has way to many already, and even has a Webkin lover's journal that she puts out (sometimes alone, sometimes with help from friends) for her friends at school, giving rumors, where to buy info, retiring info, recipes, contests, and surveys etc. She does a nice job.

I surprised my girls this evening with a special trip to our favorite Webkinz store, PB&J. My girls were thrilled. They had plenty of current Webkinz to choose from and they had about 10 of the free ones to pick from. I am glad we went tonight because I am sure they would be out in the am.

I took 3 of my kids to a Hallmark this afternoon. They told me it was only 1 free per family. :( So we picked my dd up at school and headed to a second Hallmark where it was one free for each person (w/ $10 purchase per person). So we got a few gifts, spent $40 and got 4 free Webkinz! (technically we had 5 people so we could have spent more and got one more free). My dh thought I was crazy taking all 4 kids! I told him it was his turn tomorrow - yeah right! :lmao: That I would have to see!

Well dang it. My kids didn't tell me about that part! And we went to that silly Webkinz celebration thing at our Hallmark. I buy a ton of cards and my youngest does not have a Webkinz yet. Maybe I will have to go by quick in the morning!

Our Hallmark had kid guessing jellybeans in a jar and everyone got a choice of a Webkinz bookmark, trading cards or a mouse pad just for guessing. Then with a $10 webkinz purchase you got a free webkinz, no limit how many. DD bought the rooster and got a frog for free. It was a very nice promotion and there were lots of people in the store.

*sigh* this whole thing brings back very bad memories of trying to deprogram my sister when she was insane over the beanie babies. she's stuck with boxes of the stupid worthless things that she was sure was going to be her retirement fund. thank goodness she's still beaten from that last stuffed animal war....

Our store had the Wheel of Wow spin all day, along with a scavenger hunt in the store, coloring pages and the free Webkinz deal. I made a purchase of over $35. The woman said something about you two getting a free Webkinz. (I had both of my kids with me.) They were each able to pick one. I would have split my purchase if I had to because one Webkinz and two kids would have been a huge issue!

As we were driving home, my 9-year-old DS says, "This is the best day ever!"

Dianne:)

Were you at the Solomon Pond Mall??? I was just going to post that on this thread, and saw your post!! My DD and nephew had a blast there yesterday!

I took my son to pick out the Pink Pony for his sister's birthday. We got a free cat for my youngest. He won a Webkinz mousepad on the Wheel of Wow and picked out a 10% coupon. Our store policy is one free per child per day as well as one spin of the wheel per day. We are in a small town and they had 500 frees. I think they're down to about 350 now. There was a tally board so people could see how many were left.

I just went to the 99 cent cards and bought 3 Mother's Day cards and the rest in kid's birthday cards because we have a party to go to just about every month. $11 in cards that I will have to buy at some point anyway and a free webkinz! :cool1:

My dd bought webkinz lip gloss, trading cards, and a bookmark and got a free lion.

Neither of the stores we've been in had the Wheel of Wow or any games for the kids..... that would have been fun! We did go to Justice on Friday and they used the rest of their Easter gift cards from Papa and Gramma to get a free Lion, Frog (ds got his first Webkinz, silly boy!), and Ally Cat.... I took the cousins w/ my girls yesterday and my 2 got the Tiger and Cow, the cousins got the White Poodle and Pig.... Dh thinks I'm crazy for wanting to go again today, but since it's raining and we can't work in the yard I think we'll get to make the trip!

We went to one store that had a count the jellybean challenge which the winner will get a $25 store credit (I highly doubt it will be my kids). They also had a mining game. There was a cardboard box filled with packing peanuts. You put your hand in and pulled out a colored gem and one a prize depending on the color. One dd won a package of trading cards and the other won a blue hippo little webkinz. I also purchased two ballerina statues for their upcoming dance recitals so they got a black/white cat and a poodle. The store also had coloring sheets taken from the webkinz coloring book that kids could color and return by 5pm Sunday to get a coupon emailed to them (we didn't bother to return them) and they had a bowl of candy if you wanted to let your kids have some.

Later at a different store both kids got their faces painted and received bubbles. I purchased some things their such as a graduation card for my niece graduating college in May. Both kids got to spin the wheel of wow and win whatever webkinz the wheel landed on. One girl got a cocker spaniel and the other got a love frog. We already have the love frog so either both kids will have the same one (my youngest just has 1 on her account) or most likely I will save it for a birthday gift. We are done for the weekend.

Our Hallmark was running a smiliar thing.

If you spent $10.00 you got a free Webkinz, but you only had to choose from the Dalmation or Cyldesdale Horse.

They also had the Wheel of WOW each of my kids won an item we received a mousepad, pack of cards and a bookmark.

Then we guessed how many peppermints were in the jar and who ever wins gets to win a Webkinz of the month for May or June.

We also got to pick out a coupon from a jar and my kids won 20, 30 & 40% off their next webkinz purchase.

My 3 year old was up at 7:30 am yesterday because she couldn't wait to spin the Wheel of Wow. The store didn't start the Wheel until 1 pm. Many of you don't think that is early but she is usually a late sleeper.
She had her heart set on the pink pony so I bought that and she picked a kitty out for free. Learning Express is where we went. They had the wheel of wow, the wishing well, and a coupon machine games. They had the jellybean guessing game and a coloring contest too.

DD got the furry white cat for free when I bought my Mothers day cards. It was great, I had to buy the cards anyway so why not get the free webkinz. Then she pulled out a coupon from the give away bowl for $6 off either the panda or the frog. So I bought her the Panda because I am a sucker.... I had a very happy child who has 2 new webkinz and I actually bought all of my cards early and am ready for Mothers day!

Thanks for posting this on Friday!!!!!

I went to a Hallmark in our mall. I had a few small gifts I needed to get. They encouraged me to split up my orders.. VERY friendly! I ended up making 4 transactions and getting 4 free Webkinz.
