Free water in parks?

I brought my 24 oz. Teva cup, filled it with ice before I left the hotel. I had ice water for a couple hours. When I ran out I went to anywhere that sold drinks (pretzel stand, coffee stand in EPCOT) I asked for two cups of ice and refilled my Teva. It worked great and the water was always cold.

Electric Umbrella is in the center of Epcot while Sunshine Seasons is inside the Land pavilion. Sounds like you may be talking about the Electric Umbrella but not 100% sure.

Similar thing with Lunching Pad and Cosmic Ray's. Cosmic Ray's is inside and has the different bays and Lunching Pad is outdoors right under the Astro Orbiter and serves mostly hot dogs.

Hope that helps!

Thought so. Sunshine season and Electric Umbrella both had soda machines. In EU it's right by the doors and I just walked in. Sunshine Seasons I did enter by the check out and said I'm just going to get some water, showing my bottle and they were like 'okay'.

I just can't remember which one (launching pad/cosmic rays) had the soda behind the counter and which one had a soda machine. I'm pretty sure one does and the other doesn't. Heck it might have been Peco's Bill. For some reason MK all blurs together.

It's been 4 years since our last WDW vacation and was wondering if any of the Soda machines in the CS restaurants are self serve? So you can fill up your own cup. The last time I got a cup of free water at the Starlite Rays (I think that's the name) MK and it must have come from a faucet, it was awful, I took one sip and spit it out, really bad!!:crazy2:

The MK water still tastes horrid even filtered. This is the only park where we don't get the free tap water but if you go to Starbucks their tap water is good.

Totally in agreement about Cosmic Ray's water! We joked that it came direct from the toilets in the bathroom, it was that bad!:crazy2:

Don't forget, you can enjoy all of the international Coke products you want for free at the Epcot tasting station! You know you want to fill your bottle with Beverly so you can drink it allll day.... ;)

Thanks for reminding me of this. Gotta remember to tell my cousin to try the delicious Beverly.

I got free cups of water at QS windows whenever I was thirsty on our last trip and it worked fine for us. I don't like having the weight of a water bottle to carry around. I tend to be picky, but I don't recall ever finding the taste of the water objectionable. Perhaps I was too hot and thirsty to care!

It is Club Cool at Epcot.

No, you didn't find the water objectionable because the water you got came from the soda machine and was filtered.
