Free Underwear Coupon...Am I Cheap?

Went shopping at the mall with a friend today. I got a coupon the other day in the mail from Victoria's Secret. It was for 1 free pair of "PINK" brand panties. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY My friend was mortified that I just went in with the coupon and did not buy anything else. She said I was cheap and the store only sent out the coupons so that shoppers will come in and buy more stuff with their free panties. Well, too bad for them. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

So, should I be embarassed?

I always feel a little embarrased when I do that, but I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I just picked up my free Frappucino from Starbucks last week without purchasing anything else.

However, when I use a convenience stores restroom, I ALWAYS buy something. At least a pack of gum.

Good thing I didn't get that coupon. I LOVE buying new panties. I've probably bought 40 in the last 6 months and I want to buy more. I have so many panties, I could probably go at least 4 months without doing laundry, although I wouldn't that's yucky.

Nonetheless, if they sent me that coupn, I wouldn't have been able to resist.

I have done this many times & it's a lot of times it's with Victoria's Secret items.

I recently got coupons from Office Max. One set was sent to my home & one to my business. They are for "Get $10 off a purchase of $10 or more". One expires at the end of July & one is good from August 1-31.

I went yesterday & made two separate purchases. It ended up costing me less than $15 for about $35 worth of stuff. I started getting school supplies for DD's.

I will go back in August & spend another "$20 or so". My sister is also giving me her coupons - she doesn't have any kids.

I don't find anything wrong with it - I guess I'm cheap too!

Absolutly not! They sent that coupon out to get shoppers into their store. If they didn't want you to have free panties then the coupon would be for a discount! I just wish I would have gotten the coupon as well!

Ooh, I hope I get one of those coupons! I've used them at Victoria's Secret before... I do feel kind of weird not actually buying anything, but they never seem to mind!

If you are cheap then so am I. I got one of those too once and went in asked for my underwear and left. They were $12 apiece. I don't spend that much. I must say they are my favorite pair. I guess I'll need to look for a sale.

i did this exact same thing today ... I was with my sister who was in retail previously. she said she hated people like me, but they wouldn't send them if they didn't want them used. (she's probably just jealous she didn't get this coupon this month!)

I don't think your cheap. Everytime I get a coupon for free panties from them I use it whether I buy something else depends on the budget. I have enough VS stuff to last me a lifetime anyway but I just can't get enough. If it's free even better.

For some bizarre reason I got sent two of those coupons!! I plan on taking two separate trips in to the store and using them without any other purchase.

Truth is, VS has gotten PLENTY of my money already!!

I don't think its cheap. I actually received one of those coupons last year. They launched the PINK line early out here I believe. I gladly used it, although I happened to be buying other things anyways, and if I receive another I'll go in and claim my 2nd free pair! The coupon worked on me because the PINK line is my favorite now.

I love those coupons!!! I've got 3 awesome pairs of $12+ underware from VS, because of those coupons! $36 worth (which, of course I would never pay that much for them) for free! I have to admit, I love the free underware so much I'm tempted to actually buy more, but I just wait for the semi-annual sale!
