I just joined DVC...will I get any free stuff? Do I need to ask?

If it was a resale.. I really doubt any freebes headed your way. at least not from DVC..

When we purchased our main contract thru DVC, they sent a backpack and litho, we got another litho with our recent add on.

when we added on at VWL and SSR all we received were the lithographs of the resorts.

Every so often, DVC will send a free pin or calendar or something small when they are celebrating something (a new resort openning, a special anniversary). They sent many members a very nice pin shortly after 9/11, I think to cheer everybody up, because the country was in such a state of shock. You will also receive a free issue of VACATION MAGIC, a DVC magazine/newsletter, four times a year.
