Free stuff around WDW?!

Dont forget free soda at club cool at epcot, if it is your first time I HIGHLY recommend the "Beverly".

If you go to the barbershop in MK, you can get free Pixie Dust. They sprinkle Pixie Dust into your hair and hairspay it in. I am always amazed that this is free.

Seriously?!? I thought you needed to make an appointemnt and pay like $10! :rotfl: So, can I just drop by with DDs?

In Mexico, near where the kids make their masks, you can have your picture taken and send a free e-postcard. You do it all your self and they are really cute. The one with my husband as a cliff diver cracks me up! :rotfl2:

I usually get a few of the Walt Disney World Pens. When I pay with my debit or credit card I always ask where I can buy the pens they always say you can't , and sometimes they say but you can have this one. I use them for special things only like birthday & christmas cards.

If you are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, you can ask to be Flag Family one day.

they aren't

unless a new series has been published, there are 18 cards. 3 for buses (one for each type of bus in the fleet), 12 for monorail (one for each line) and 3 for the ferries. each type of card is only available on the respective transportation
.

So who do you ask for these, the drivers?

At the Beach Club, if you're at the pool/waterslide early enough your child can raise the "Pirate Flag" on the ship--- wish I had a picture, but I wasn't prepared!!

Yup, our DS got the haircut with pixie dust and colored gel I think that was $14.00 (maybee $17.00) still a good deal

Sorry, it's late & I'm tired so maybe not getting this... Is it free or do they just add Pixie Dust and hairspray with a cut? :confused3

Thanks!

Can you still get the free photo in the Innoventions East building? (I think it's the east building - it's the one on the same side as Mouse Gear.) We did one a couple of years ago of our family - then you can email it to yourself or a friend from right there. They gave you a couple of backgrounds to choose from.

If it's your birthday, there's tons of stuff. We've gone a few times on my DH & DS's birthdays.
-DH got a free dessert at the noodle place in MK
-DH got a free pretzel in HS while buying a beer
-All 3 of us were offered something for free at a fruit stand in MK. I got a banana and DH got an orange. The CM told us to come back later if DS changed his mind and wanted something.
-The bakery in the Land gave each of them a chocolate chip cookie.

DH & DS wore their birthday pin for the whole trip, but whenever they offered something for free, if it wasn't actually their birthday, we mentionned it was a couple days earlier, the CM's always still insisted they take the free thing. It sounded almost like they hada quota of free stuff to give away. Works for me!

We also got free desert in Mexico. We were on the DP and asked if we could sub dessert for a salad, they said we could, then the server said she wanted us to try the dessert anyways. We didn't really like, but it was still really nice of her. She got a big tip!

At the MK, if you sit in the back of the train you can ask to have your son/ daughter serve as the "guest conductor." They get to say "all aboard" over the loudspeaker, ride in the back with the conductor, and get a "Guest Conductor" card.

My son got a boat pilots certificate from the boat ride in Mexico when we sat in the very front.

He also was just an inch short for Space Mountain, so they gave him a card that said "Future Space Rider" or something like that - I can't remember.
